This approach can significantly impact restructuring efforts across the organization. With 30 years in IT and experience in Digital Transformation projects, I’ve observed how organizations often struggle to re-engineer and restructure during SAP implementations. These challenges frequently lead to unmet Digital Transformation goals and even budget overruns 💸. While I’m not a Change Management professional, I firmly believe that organizations embarking on Digital Transformation should first undertake a Change Management Program to assess their readiness for automation. Such programs could help prepare teams, align processes, and reduce risks before implementing SAP. What are your thoughts on this? Additionally, there are instances where organizations ask ERP vendors to design processes that position them as industry leaders. This often leads to ERP customizations-an area ripe with both opportunities and risks. Would love to hear your views!
