My dream is making the authentic Japanese Luxury Travel and Hotels using with old real Japanese architecture. If anyone is interested in my company or my dream, let me to share it.
At 1:28 I almost thought you said , "it's kind of fucked" which would have been elite English, lol. But good advice! I saw the Sakura last year and I would have really liked to go again this year. But I waited too long to make plans. If you haven't settled your Tokyo Sakura plans by now you will be spending a lot of money as you said.
Was that NOT what he said? I thought that was hilarious.
In 2009, there was nobody there despite the cherry blossom season in April. Business hotel prices back then was $60 & up (towards $75) because I just walked-in without reservation every night in different hotels. And I got a room every night without a reservation. The only place I couldn't get 1 night was a hotel on my way to Hakone. I had to turn back because it was already very late. At Akihabara, I got a hotel for 4 nights without reservation.
It's quite different situation now!
Tourists are taking up the business hotels because they are so reasonably priced, and many tourists just want a place to sleep and shower because they're out all day anyway. Hopefully after the busiest parts of the season are over, the prices will settle back down for locals, although it seems that Japan is still a very popular spot regardless of seasons, post-pandemic.
I agree with you!
I have already made reservations at a few Tokyo cheaper hotels for june this year and they were only slightly elevated from the year before.
good! enjoy!
maybe we were lucky to get in early. @@liljapan
