Veena chechi , I need your help..I made this today and the texture/taste came out perfectly...I added baking soda at the last jus before cooking , however once the idli was cooked , I couldn’t resist the smell of it. Is it because my baking soda was not good enough. I had prepared the batter and had kept in the fridge overnight. I had added the baking soda once the batter was at room temperature .
