Bad acne my entire life - finally figured out how to cure it - just eat well. This means nothing that comes in a package. No idea what's in all that stuff, but I just stopped eating it, and no more pimples. Over the last 20+ years I've tested this theory from time to time by re-introducing some junk, and sure enough, the next day I have pimples. It's really helped me stay on a good diet, since my body clearly communicates when it doesn't like something - I just have to listen! BTW, I have no problem with meat, potatoes, cheese, yogurt, any vegetable, coconut, avocados, but I avoid all sugar, and all packaged foods, snacks, etc. As Jack Lalanne said, "If it's made by man, don't eat it!"

Stick more with cruciferous veggies (kale, collard greens, brussel sprouts etc.) and consume more fish (preferably non-farmed and I did more tuna, salmon, cod, and halibut). IF you do eat nuts stick with pecans, and macadamia nuts. Try to cut down bread & pasta...I cut out bread completely and I love pasta so I compromised and do an organic red lentil pasta or chick pea based pasta. More olive oil. Coffee is hard for me but at most 2 cups of drip but if espresso 2 shots max per day. Try to use olive oil and butter is good but I do clarified (ghee) grass fed. Red meats need to be consumed less but if you do make sure it's grass fed (organic as possible) and I won't anything under 85% lean for ground beef and stick to cuts like porterhouse, ribeye, filet mignon, top sirloin. Bone marrow is awesome. Consume more water. Green tea is great. Try to add turmeric and ginger to your diet. Try to be outside in the sun for at least 20 mins. Try to do 3-4x a week of strenuous exercise you will feel in a few days still. Sleep is absolutely critical at 7-8 hours a night.

I guess its important to note that arachidonic and Linoleic acid are the omega 6 fats that are considered the most inflammatory of the omega 6's, people should avoid corn oil (vegetable oil) and animals that feed on corn and grain. GLA (some people can convert linoleic acid to this chain far better than others) is actually considered anti-inflammatory and is found in seeds like hemp (though they recommend oils). Conjugated linoleic acid found in animals that eat grass fed animals also have a weight loss/muscle building effect
I did not know that about the relationship between mercury and selenium! GREAT video about the importance of consuming quality omega-3's...so important for the brain! So grateful for your videos.
Dr. Berg, according to the label on the Barlean's brand of flax oil with lignan's, the omega 6 (inflammatory) is 1900mg. However, the omega 3 is 7640. I think you need to put the flax oil on the other side of your column....

I just have a question, I hope someone can help me understand this: Flax seed oil is listed as a source of Omega 6 associated inflammation here. I looked up the ratio of omega 3 to Omega 6 in Flax seed oil and have found varying figures (on the bottle and on other bottles) all in a ratio of roughly 3:1. Meaning there are three times more Omega 3 than Omega 6 fatty acids in the oil. Taking the information of this videos, it sounds like the anti-inflammatory Omega 3 balances out omega 6 ( I can immagine, it would not be in a 1 on 1 ratio though). Does anyone know, why Dr. Berg groups flax seed oil into the predominantly Omega 6 rich oils group in this video? Cheers

Your videos are kinda confusing, what to do and what not to do should be so clear, especially for the Asians people. I have watched several times as the review are good and worth but how would we clear ur massage?
Dear Dr. Berg. Is refined olive oil high in omega 6? Is it unhealthy or just "tasteless"? We use it for cooking and extra virgin for everything else. Also is it the process of refining that increases the omega 6 or is it the plant/fruit it self thats high in it? You mention refined canola oil as high in omega 6 but what about extra virgin canola oil?
Fish is one of the most disgusting tasting foods to me. Fish oil pills make me burp and taste it all day. I would go hungry a long time before I eat nasty fish.
So are pork, pork lard, butter, canned tuna in oil, ghee, duck fat higher in Omega 3 vs. Omega 6? I’m assuming one must be careful w canned tuna in oil since the oil is likely vegetable oil. Should I avoid chicken oil extracted from chicken skin or eating chicken and chicken skin cracklins (would pork rinds be better as a snack?) if I’m trying to be “healthy” about omega 3:6 fatty acid ratio while on keto? I LOVE fish, but mostly only salmon, mackerel, sea bass, and tuna as opposed to canned sardines and anchovies, which are expensive and I’m not sure I can eat fish all the time. I do eat a lot of beef, pork, salmon, and sometimes duck and chicken though.

Hang on -- why is flax oil listed under "Omega-6"?! Yes, it has a small amount of O-6, but it has *3 times as much Omega-3* fatty acids as O-6.
Thank you Dr. Berg. Before I knew about the nutrition of avocados, I purchased hemp seed oil to add to my smoothies. Is hemp-seed oil okay?
Read the comments people are arguing the pros and cons
Dr. Berg, You are in total contradiction with Harvard Medical School. I believe their reasoning is better than yours.
You changed my life dr berg . I wish I your products shipped to India . Please look into it .
Love and regards
Thank you, Doc. Very helpful & educative. 🙏😇
Your videos are kinda confusing, what to do and what not to do should be so clear, especially for the Asians people. I have watched several times as the review are good and worth but how would we clear ur massage?
I love this doctor. So informative
It's a shame you talk about living, feeling animals like they're an ingredient :(.
Hi Dr. Berg, can i take omega supplement (3,6,9) when on keto diet?
This is very true,Omega 6 makes my period cramps the worst
Exactly! I'm glad we know now! 😃
Dear Dr.
I heard a doctor say that taking omega 3 oil supplements are bad because they oxidize in the body?
Fish is one of the most disgusting tasting foods to me. Fish oil pills make me burp and taste it all day. I would go hungry a long time before I eat nasty fish.
You guys wanna lose weight?
I wanna gain weight!
Catch some Carp, catfish or freshwater drum if you want some fish fat. But don't fry it of course
What if you allergic to seafood? Best recommendation?
How to get omega 3... I go into anaphylactic shock with fish..
So how much omega 3 and 6 are we supposed to get?
Watched this for nothing
Sir, can I use OMEGA 3 supplements?
So informative once again! Thank you ☺️
So are pork, pork lard, butter, canned tuna in oil, ghee, duck fat higher in Omega 3 vs.
Gees.....just read the label My tuna is in olive oil same as my sardines SS brand, You have to do your homework and keep reading the labels..... you have to do the work.....no one can do it for you.....
Hey Dr, flax seed is high in Omega 3 !!
@@ForestForTheTrees3283 I think he did had any problem with flax seeds that time
The problem is your body converts omega 3 from flax seed is really insignificant. Compare to DHA EPA omega 3
Am I the only one who can't eat eggs or fish without getting sick? 😑
Am I the only one waiting for Dr Berg to materialize and say:
"Please state the nature of the medical emergency."
A holographic emh WOW, only in are dreams.
I heard ratio should be 4 to 1 (omega6 to omega3)
linseed oil consists out of over 50% of Omega 3 fat. Also rapeseed oil has a high content.
Yes, they call that Canola. Make sure the source is non GMO organic cold expeller process, not available in 99.9 % of grocery stores. And that is my choice as well. Happy Keto!
How about pork the pork have a lot of omega 6 right?
Omega 6 increases inflammation...
1) "Low quality fish oil" (and cod liver oil): Just make absolutely sure you get one that has been cleaned/rinsed for 95%(?) of dioxins and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (dl-PCB),. And of course, one that tastes OK :-) 2) Replace "Fish" with "Fat fish". P.s. I have got myO6:=3- ratio down to 2.4:1 :-) It even was 2.0 for a while. My present goal is 1.5:1.
Is solar omega 3 good?
@@stefanfaggioni4426 ; Sorry, I have no idea.
Non grass fed beef also high in omega 6 ?
The quality might not be that good, but you may still have it.
-Dr Berg's support team
I'm gonna become a doctor listening and learning Dr Berg teachings, so clear and so understandable Alhamdulillah🌹 at least smb who can help oneself and family, and 👭👬👫
Hemp seed oil has a 2:1 ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3.
Hi Dr Berg. What about avocado oil?
What about the combination of GLA (Omega 6) and EPA, DHA (Omega 3)? It should be great for lowering inflammation.
What about people with seafood allergy ?
You always have the best info. Thank you!
Climbs out of the 'YT' time machine from 2022, grabs the cod liver oil. hops back in the 'TY' 'sheen' LIKE
