Superb video, really enjoyed it. My only gripe, and it isn't aimed at you, is that Lancia 037 does not work with the SRB chassis, I've never liked it, it looks bloody ridiculous. The bodyshell looks awesome BTW ;)
Finished my Tamiya Rally car collection with the 959 it recieved yesterday .... But now thanks to your video I might have to hunt for Audi & Lancia OG kits . My wife really appreciates it
hi have you ever tried automotive panelwipe to remove sticky residue and cleaning body ready for painting. it is good with most plastics iv come across and safe for all panted parts too
Gavin, what are you like, give the hard body a clean with brake cleaner and a good going over with T-cut and apart from primer, paint and lacquer……job done, no problem 😉 easy peasy lemon squeezee.
Stunning work Mr Evans 😊👍 turned out beautifully and super thanks for the tip regarding how to deal with glued tyres, had no idea you could do it like that, tried the oven but that melted the rims 😔 so won’t try that method again 😂
The italian black plate with white and orange numbers was in use on real road cars from 1977 to 1985, the white one with black numbers from 1985 to 1993.

I’ve found a pan on the hob with boiling water put the wheels in and keep checking every 10 mins or so,it’s great to remove superglue.

Fantastic work , the car that got me into rc back in the day (mate had one) for sticker residue , use sticky stuff remover from Halfords
