Wicked Cyclone was my first ever RMC - a life-changing experience. I actually enjoyed the original Cyclone at SFNE and was sad to see it go, but I got over that *very* quickly.
Also, the Coney Island Cyclone was where my grandparents went on their first date. I guess I exist because of a roller coaster - wouldn’t have it any other way.
Who knows maybe if Cyclone sucked they would have never gotten married

Love this series you have and it definitely gave me a laugh when I needed it so thanks so much. I was fortunate to get a front row ride on Wicked Cyclone last month and I’m not surprised that it’s at the top of the list.
There’s a story surrounding the Crystal Beach Cyclone in which a man fell to his death after standing up to take his coat off when the train was at the first drop. This man was supposedly the uncle of my late grandmother on my mom’s side of the family.

Got to ride the real deal Coney Island Cyclone this past summer. Oh my goodness! What a great ride! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was great. Also, Twisted Cyclone is one of my faves too :)
I love the Cyclone/Mouse Trap name mixup at Wonderland. It’s such a fun little park and it’s funny how perfectly normal it would be if those names were switched, but the fact that it’s opposite gives it charm!
Holy shit, Sandspit mention on Airtime Thrills. Never thought I'd see my home park with its generic wildcat get acknowledged by coaster RUclips. Nice view out onto the ocean from the top of the lift hill before the drop. Got the credit on the mini, too. Also, there is a way to know! I can confirm it's "sand spit" and not "sand's pit".

Lakeside is a great little park-the Art Deco designs and old neon signs are worth the visit alone. They also have the first Satellite flat ride ever-the second went to Disneyland.
I feel like you could do something super fun with snake coaster names and dragon coaster names.

There used to be a coaster at Long Beach California called Racing Cyclone which opened in the early 1930’s to the late 60’s. It was the only Cyclone coaster that was a racing coaster.
That was hilarious. As a proud New Yorker who loves the Coney Island Cyclone, this made me laugh (also cuz the New England Wicked Cyclone is incredible!). Ironically, I rode the Carolina Cyclone in the early-mid '90s as my first inverting coaster when I was in middle school, and didn't get on the actual Coney Island Cyclone until my freshman year of college at NYU in 1999, but I've kept that love affair going!
I must have had the luckiest day at SFOG ever. We went on a scorching hot day in July. Weather was awful but we managed to get on every single coaster, Wicked Cyclone and Superman Ultimate Flight twice each, as well as the Discovery and log flume. All fast enough to catch the Braves game on the way home
I recently rode Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England. I'm no enthusiast - just a layman, but I can say there was nothing wicked slow about it. I appreciate the humor though! LOL, and I also rode it toward the end of the day, so you're right about that one.

I will always have a soft spot for Carolina Cyclone as its current trains came from the late Vortex at Kings Island, which was my favorite ride. It’s a good ride for what it has and leaning all the way forward spared my head lol.

I finally got to ride the Coney Island Cyclone last month and it exceeded all my expectations. I thought the airtime and laterals were great, especially in those roomy seats. The first drop really packs a punch for its size.

My favorite is Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England followed by Twisted Cyclone at Six Flags Over Georgia. It just occurred to me I haven't ridden many coasters with that name. But at least they're the best two out there.

Wicked Cyclone is such a good coaster. I never felt like the third lap was that boring, but I have always been at SFNE on 90 degree days.
I rode Georgia Cyclone in 2016, it was quite fun. I hope to someday return to SFOG to ride Twisted Cyclone.
Number 12 reminds me of the Hi-Speed Thrill Coaster Knoebels used to have, until that became hard to maintain and they replaced it with Kosmo's Kurves..

The last day of wicked cyclones this season was last night and damn sure I was milking that ride
Easily my top 2 as well. Just 2 days ago on Saturday, Twisted Cyclone had a 10-15 minute wait all day. I picked a good Saturday to go there. For me, my # 3 will be Texas Cyclone over the Coney Island Cyclone. My rides on those 2 are separated by 20 years (2002 & 2022), so maybe my memory is clouded, but it sure seemed like Texas Cyclone was far better & stronger.

My favorite is Lakesides Cyclone because I haven’t rode any others yet. If you like that blue Cyclone wild mouse, you’ll love the Wild Chipmunk at Lakeside. It feels like cheating death every time! It’s 10 years older and made by the same company. I don’t think it has any paint, just greasy steel to prevent rust lol!
The mouse at Arnolds Park is also a janky mess. I cant imagine going much jankier than that and being legal

While I loved both Twisted AND Wicked Cyclones I just can't believe you made the original #3 man. Come on! As good as they are I honestly believe the Coney Island Cyclone is still better than both. RMC's with All those new fangled zero G rolls and shit. Coney Island eats them like a Nathan's frank! 😄

I think it's time to do the Wildcat coaster trend next.
Mini Cyclone at Sanspit Canvendish would be the smallest coaster but I don't count power coasters. However: the next coaster in this video at P-8 farms looks like a knock off of Molina and Sons Lil' Phantom at Kennywood which is identical Lil' Thunder which used to be called Lil' Screamer, which used to be at SFG Adventure and is the smallest coaster I've ridden. Check out Canobie Coaster's review of it. ;)
I've not ridden Twisted Cyclone but I've ridden Goliath at Six Flags Great America and I prefer Cyclone at Coney Island to that, so I don't think I'd like Twisted Cyclone as much as I like the Coney Island Cyclone, so I'd reverse your 2nd Cyclone with your third. Heck: I prefer Cyclone at Coney Island more than I like Twisted Colossus, but not as much as I like Steel Vengeance, Behemoth or Millennium Force. But I loved this video either way. I had no idea how many coasters there were with the name Cyclone in it. Thanks for posting!

as a canadian resident this is my first time hearing about Sandspit talked about by an enthusiast, the park is boring compared to all the American parks but for this part of Canada, its like our six flags so its kinda neat to hear it get recognition, even if it isn't much lmao. another weird fact though, that mini cyclone used to be known as rock N roller coaster in New Brunswick, being only one of 2 coasters to ever operate in an amusement park in new brunswick

Twisted cyclone ends short but it is a lot better than ppl make it out to be and wicked cyclone is the closest thing to steel vengeance other than steel vengeance itself so yeah
