What would you like to learn about bowling? Let me know what topics you'd like me to create a video next :)
How does a one handed bowler get his fingers below the equator. Even Frankie is kind of on top of the ball instead of underneath
I've learned even more from the classic season 1 Simpsons episode Life In The Fast Lane.
@Typical Male • slightly cuffed arm and wrist. Keep elbow to inside. Bring forearm and wrist through the center of the ball. Release quickly and smoothly. Stay down and feed the ball to the lane.
He's a fascinating player because he doesn't tuck his pinky or flare his pointer finger, nor get his hand as inside/behind the ball as a lot of other guys, but he consistently wins without that insane rev rate. Just great form, accuracy, smooth release, and smarts.
I was about to say the same thing - he doesn't cup the ball, seems like there is no de-coil in the wrist, but still hooks like the rest...I don't get it, is none of that stuff actually necessary?
@@B_i_R_D__M_a_N It is interesting, isn't it? He can play as far left as a cranker, release the ball the exact same way he would if he were playing way to the right, and still make an impressive hook. I think it's a combination of ball choice, lane conditions, and really good form. My personal bowling style is similar to his, yet I can rarely play past the 15 board!
Reminded me of norm duke style of play
@@die7fox I think ball layouts help immensely. I was thinking much the same as all of you as to his mechanics. When I had poorly laid out equipment I couldn't play in at all. It was like I had a bag full of five irons. Now that I have a great pro shop operator who knows his stuff when it comes to layouts and ball motion, it opened the lane up for me a lot more.
@@chasbari That's good to know. All of my bowling balls are drilled pin up with what's probably the "default" layout for strokers. It works fine, until it doesn't. The 15 board is almost like a brick wall for me. I can't play past it and expect to find the pocket. Might be time to experiment with more aggressive layouts.
My favorite bowler. Thanks for this video.
awesome videos slow motion 😍👍👍👍
great vid. I could never figure out what there were doing at the faster speeds. Looks like I am close but could use more control
Noijs!
I hit my ankle a couple times...knocking me to the floor. OUCH!
I wonder if Frankie has hit his ankle. He sure comes close every time.
Hi AB, is this considered modern @ yoyo release?
I just want Francois to know I think he is hot as hell
Gorgeous man
What bowling ball is that one

Axiom solid
@@keon.123 looks like a really polished solid to me, pearl is red and blue
Hi, I enjoy these slomo videos but unfortunately the rear angle doesn't clearly show the beginning footwork where the all important 2nd step ( right foot ) steps inline in front of the left ( toe pointed right ? ) to begin opening the hips on the swing. So, a front/side view showing footwork , slide and release angles would be very helpful. Thanks !
He was born three years after the episode aired, but his loss to Dick Allen was like a real life metaphor of Homer Simpson defeating French/Quebec sounding Jacques, the bowling instructor who tried to screw Marge.
They predict everything that happens in the world..a cartoon almanac.
Looks like a pin down motion.
