    he's the modern, toned down version of mike fagan. so smooth and effortless, but still packs enough power and last but not least, the finesse!

    Look he is a great player. But his game is not great. It fun to see a below average game win. As he ages his footwork, lack ball speed and revs will keep him from competing.

      Below average? Lavoie's focus clearly isn't on power: it's on shot-making, repetition, and consistency. Why do you think he's won the US Open twice? Luck? Just because he's not focusing on power doesn't make his game any worse than any of the other pros.
      Would you say the same about Norm Duke, Walter Ray Williams, and Earl Anthony? They all have less than stellar games compared to the power players, but those three lead the tour in titles.

      @@dormnuke no what I’m saying is his game isn’t todays game. In norm dukes era his game would be the same as dukes. It isn’t a personal attack. Just an opinion. His us open wins are epic. He obviously has a tremendous mental game and touch. Don’t be so overprotective when someone else differs in opinion.
