- François Lavoie versus Sean Rash during the Round of 16 at the 2020 PBA Playoffs. Lavoie became the second bowler in PBA history (along with Rash) to roll two career televised 300 games in PBA title events.
Originally aired October 17, 2020 from Bowlero Centreville in Centreville, Virginia.
Rash has been involved in a PBA-record six televised 300 games, rolling two and opposing four (Chris Barnes, Ronnie Russell, Jakob Butturff, Lavoie). Two other players, Ryan Shafer and Wes Malott, have rolled two televised perfect games, but Rash and Lavoie are the only two to do so in title events.

And he did it with Jason Belmonte's Ball against Rash, how poetic is that.....
You are so right. I loved every minute of it. The caveat is though he will be bowling Jason next round ... that would not be right to beat Jason with his logo ball lol.

Francois is one if not the most underrated player
on the tour
He’s a worthy replacement in the PBA for Mike Fagan. Both are smooth action bowlers.
Francois is my favorite pba bowler. He reminds me of myself. He has a relatively low rev rate and relies on shot making to get a good score. He’s my inspiration and I try my best to learn and improve from him.
I love how rash is such a good sport and even started rooting for him. You can see towards the end he started recording.

Keep in mind he already was the first guy to ever bag 2 television 300 games himself, so of course he is rooting for him to join him.

Love the sportsmanship of Rash taking the video of Lavoie. These guys are all friends off of the TV. Very cool to watch him roll a perfect game.

François Lavoie and Norm Duke are perfect examples that show that a low rev rate doesn't mean you're a bad bowler as long as you can hit your target and be consistent

My freshman year of college I had the pleasure of bowling against Francois, it was his senior year, soft spoken and super nice guy.
Great bowling by Frankie. Loved how Sean Rash was recording on his phone. That was history in the making ...very classy.

Wow ever since I first saw him bowl I was instantly a fan. It’s so crazy how he got 2 300 games just like Sean Rash WHILE he was against him!

There was no televised 300s in 2017, '18, or '19, but now there has been 3 in 2020 alone. Almost 4!
I had the chance to meet Francois and he is a great guy.

we had a highschool match today (we are top in the state of Tennessee) and one of our best players managed an 800 series. it was epic to watch.

Great Game, Shows you don't need to throw a big hook with 500rpm's to strike, Frankie will have a long career with his style,
he'll be around long after those cranker style bowlers will be done, I should know I was a cranker was was done in my early 40's and I was just a 2 league bowlers and some tournaments, imagine the stress on the bodies of some of the power players who
have to Bowl as many games as the Pro's do.
Case in point norm Duke and Pete weber. Simple styles and both went 40 years on tour. Walter Ray as well. Ball in play will always give you the chance

EDIT: after listening to the commentary again it wasn't so much about 300s just that he had the high game so far as well as the 300 or "perfection"
And this is the first 300 game on Network TV since 98 or 99 I think....

3:10 what is this graphic? 44 Appearances. Yet he has won 49 and lost 31. That sound more like 80 appearances to me.
Probably because every time you win you get to move on and play another match
@bunker5696 is stepladder alot of those he may have had to climb the ladder a bit so it counts towards record but all of it is still only one appearance
For the parka comment, they showed the wrong area of Alaska. They showed what looked like Turnagain Arm, which is Southcentral
Why do they not count Ryan Shafers 2 300 games in TV? One was for a manufacturer tourney but it was still televised... same with Tommy Jones bowling multiple 300s in the Weber cup... all of which were televised. Whats the stipulation saying those don't count??

Malotts 300 games were not official PBA events.

@@highvoltage103 Yeah they are televised but like when they say there have been 35 300 games rolled on TV, the ones like Mallots aren't on that list. If you go on the PBA RUclips channel and go to 300 games you'll see what I'm getting at.

Someone go through the record books for this. Was Rash's score the second highest losing score in a match? I know that the record for the highest losing score bowled in a match still belongs to David Ozio, when he lost against Mike Aulby, but I don't know if anyone else has shot over 250 and lost.
Norm Duke shot a 280 to Bryan Goebel's 296 in the 1994 True Value Open.
