- Fresh off the truck - I like this series of Gibson acoustics a lot, no-frills vintage vibe but not going too far the historically correct rabbit hole. This one looks pretty sharp in black. Not a fan of the tuners they're using on these and would gladly spend $50 more for some Grovers etc, they just feel kind of cheap to me. YMMV.

Love your sound tests sir!
I love this guitar. had one in black, sold it, regretted it..... got another in burst.
Sounds amazing.. You need to compare it with the Eastman e10ss!
Just listened to your Martin D28 one and the Martin wins by a landslide
What do you think about these vs the standard?
What's the difference between this and the 45?
Neck is a bit wider. I believe has bone nut and saddle as well.

This is a 45 ...I'm lost
@@thefisherman2837 there’s two different base models. The standard, and the 1950’s j-45. The 1950s is still made today, and it’s a little different than the standard in that it has a wider neck, different tuners, and a bone nut and saddle. Also different pick guard and paint job on the back side
@@mikechivy thanks for that. Does one have the adjustable saddle?
Wider neck as in nut width or the profile?
I do prefer the look of the 50s line I'll be honest. I'm now toying between a Gibson j45 or the eastman e10ss v. 😁👌
