Priceless and the fact that they are watched to this very day by new and old generations alike shows they have stood the test of time with a fantastic ensemble cast.Nothing like a Carry On Film to cheer you up.
Never heard of Carry On until lately. (American and born in 72) I love them. So funny. Glad to have stumbled across them. Kenneth, Barbra, and Hattie are my favs. Thank you for posting this documentary and letting me know the back story.
Steven Barclay probably carry on nurse Hattie (I can’t remember her last name) was such a great talent. But carry on camping is great because of Barbara Windsor. She cracks me up. Look for the episode of Graham Norton when she was on it. So funny. I’m having trouble finding all the films because I live in the States.
now at 68 yo = thank you carry on GANG - cast and crew for all your hard work making us have fun - really top and always prefered ENGLISH movies and comedy ! blessings .
I can hear Bab’s /Peggy shouting to God “ Get Out Of My Heaven!!!!” 😂💯💎💯💎❤️ “Carry On “:Angel , we love you so much , and we’re all crying darling . Life won’t be the same without you Dame Barbara . Today, Friday 11 TH December 2020 , the world lost a true legend . Here’s my dedication to you sweetheart 🌹❤️🙏🏻💯⭐️👍 Near a shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light, Watered and fed by the morning dew, Shedding it's sweetness day and night. As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall Through which there shone a beam of light. Onward it crept with added strength With never a thought of fear or pride, It followed the light through the crevice's length And unfolded itself on the other side. The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before, And it lost itself in beauties new, Breathing it's fragrance more and more. Shall claim of death cause us to grieve And make our courage faint and fall? Nay! Let us faith and hope receive-- The rose still grows beyond the wall, Scattering fragrance far and wide Just as it did in days of yore, Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forever-more DEDICATED TO OUR BEAUTIFUL “ Babs” ❤️ Dame Barbara Windsor, DBE , born Barbara Ann Deeks; 6 August 1937 - 10 December 2020 May She Rest In Peace Eternal 🙏🏻❤️👍
Great compilation of the carry on films but what’s happened to the sound it’s out of sync with the actors voices. I ♥️ these films they always make me laugh. Hope they are all carrying on up there 💕💕
Williams contributed so well to Hc's HH. Obv' in over 20 of these, but just glad he was & films 'had their time' anyway. Liz Fraser bit found sad as never seemed to get enough respect as many others! Bl**dy ❤'d her 😙
None of the actors ever got a penny for TV repeats , they were all paid a salary, they missed out on thousands but who knew the films would still on TV 50+ years later..
In a way these biographic things ruin the fun and enjoyment. If films are enjoyment through the suspending of reality, why poison the marque with reveal all garbage and character assassination 'documentaries'?
Brilliant. I was born in 61 was raised on these movies and these actors. Wonderful to watch ❤️

As a Yank, this series totally got me into British comedy and I never looked back!
Wonderful British Comedy at its best. Never to be equaled in my opinion.
Never get bored of these movies!

Isn't it interesting that there was an influenza pandemic in 1960.
Nobody was running around ruining the world.
All the actors were brilliant
Love Kenneth Connor. Brilliant actor.

31 movies collection needs to be always easy to find!

May She Rest In Peace Eternal 🙏🏻❤️👍
Well, at least she'll be with the gang again! I can hear her now calling", Hi gang! I'm here!" Sleep tight sweetheart.
@@gordontaylor5373 Well said Sir , I doff my hat to you in respect 🤝👏👏👏👨⚕️🎩
@@SHINBET666 Thank you very much indeed.
Shirley Eaton - what a beauty and she still is.
Subscribed, you should have more, you got good content, quite regular.
Shirley Eaton still looks fantastic.
The longest running movie franchise with 31 films.
I don't think Sid was the nations favourite carry on star. I'd say it was a mixture of him and Charles hawtrey and Kenneth williams.
Sid was just himself. He didn't need to act.
I liked them all, it was the ensemble cast that worked so well.
They were all stars and they'll never fade!
RIP Barbara Windsor 1937-2020
God bless Barbara. We loved you so much. Sleep tight darlin'!
And Rosalind Knight who also died in December 2020
Jum Dale was hot. Big cinema draw at the time. Love hm. 😊
Thanks for sharing

We need Carry On's in this Corona snowflake world we need the laughs.
Loved Sid James just wondering if anyone saw him in the John Wayne film Stage Coach under the name of Sidney James .
Ding dong 🏴🗳👍🏻
I love Barbara Windsor
Everything out of sink, a small price worth paying, without those annoying adverts.
Leslie Phillips is 96 now
If another is ever made may have to be Carry on Brexit
It'd be called carry on PC!
28:26 ... remember the cartoon film (Pixar?) about the Rat and the cook (with the Rat in his hat) That face is totally the same!
Martin Clunes narrating?
Certainly sounds like him ❤
wer liebt diese Filme denn nicht?
This would be good if it wasn't squashed in.
halfway through the video its no longer in sync
Just carry on watching.
sound so far out its sooo bad !
I guess that English people back then, were pretty simple minded to have laughed at this kind of slapstick.
the sound's completely out of sync
Me tooo
By the end of the video the voice and the lips were so out of sync I couldn't watch.
Pity about the out of sunk sound
Synk
