I would love to see the documentary that they produced last year (2021) on Rick James. It gives an in-depth look at his life, his introduction to music- when his mother was running numbers (hustling) and he was introduced to the sounds of Miles Davis & Etta James. I know they will definitely discuss his "wine, women & song" era. The drugs (cocaine) really destroyed him- how many of you know, that along with a pacemaker for his heart ❣, he also had diabetes. "I am Rick James bitch"!!!!- and he definitely paid a price for it. 😎
