Bernie had a God-given talent. He's one of my favorite comedians and one of my favorite people. Aside from his obvious gifts for comedy and acting, he was a real man. He respected himself, respected and valued his wife, took care of his family, and he was kind and generous to others. A few times a year, I have to binge-watch his RUclips clips and he always has me howling with laughter. He was intelligent, an impeccable dresser, and his beautiful smile was always contagious. Rest in peace, Mac.

Bernie was my classmate. I had no way of knowing what he'd accomplish in his life. When he was a freshman in high school, he made these bullies leave me alone. We were riding home from school and these bullies were trying to make me smoke a cigarette on the bus. I was 4' 11" Bernie was big and tall. He said "you don't have to smoke that cigarette if you don't want to!" Then he told the bullies to leave me alone. And they did. I never forgot that my whole life. 🚬

Bernie Mack is a name that brings laughter to your face. Just thinking about him and his demeanor brings joy to you. I try not to think about him leaving here from all of us. But I know he is in a better place and not suffering and no more pain. We were all blessed that God allowed him to be here. God bless you, Bernie and your family. You are surely missed.

I went to highschool with his daughter although I never really spoke to her she always seemed like a personable and happy young lady. I remember Mr Mac came to speak in my economics class. I will never forget that. Great family!!! Rip Mr. Mac 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I think it was Bernies faith that allowed him to stay so grounded, even with all the success money and fame he was the same man who was on that def jam comedy stage, he was the same man who was cleaning floors. Humble from beginning to end.
Bernie MAC was a true naturally gifted master of his craft on and off stage. He didn’t let jealousy stop him. His spiritual upbringing stayed with him. Gone but not forgotten. R.I.P. Bernie

The first time that I saw Bernie Mac was on "The Def Comedy Jam" on HBO. He was hilarious and I immediately loved him. He was so funny and had such a complete sense of humor. He wanted you to laugh and have fun. He was definitely a great comedian. I miss you Bernie. God rest your soul and may you rest in peace. Other than Richard Pryor, Bernie was my favorite comedian. He was so damn funny. He was a great husband and father to his family, that you have to respect in a man. He's sorely missed that's for sure!

This touched me glad I watched it. The real ones don't last out here, I believe he chose to stand for what was right and his foundation was solid. His mother, grandma, and all the rest had done a excellent job. You can see God in the family members, and that's straight LOVE. Bernie Mac is a fine black man. I used to have all kinds of dreams about him. When he died, I cried. I felt like a part of me was gone. I love The Mac for who he was, funny!
