Excuse me, Ghostwire and Deathloop were Sony exclusives. Just because they were made by Microsoft doesn't get them point for exclusivity. Also what sony fan says that graphics matter the most. I've not heard it, I've heard people say graphics improve gameplay but not say those moments are more important than gameplay. Exclusives are the reason to buy one console over the other so yes games like Baulder's Gate 3 count as Sony wins, just like Deathloop in 2021, FF7R did in 2020, just like Person 5 did in 2016 (for a bit) just like Bloodborne did in 2015. These are reasons to buy a PS just as much as first party.

If you include Bethesda and all the other studios Xbox has purchased, they are still waiting on the big tent pole releases that are going to increase console sales. Xbox does make great games like Pentiment, High-fi rush, Grounded, Minecraft Legends etc. But they aren't system sellers on the same level as the Sony exclusives. Yes, Sony may not put out massive releases regularly, but 1 to 2 decent AAA releases a year is enough like God of War, Spiderman, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone. And they've been doing it for several years. They also fork out to get timed exclusives. Like Death Stranding, Deathloop and Final Fantasy 16, which was one of the biggest games of this year.

Starfield and Forza 13 are close enough but no other game on xbox is close enough to feel real. I'm happy to be proven wrong. The last game Bethesda developed was Fallout 76. And Fallout 4 also didn't win game of the year. Plus, this year Starfield will be up against the new Zelda, Street Fighter 6, Diablo 4, Baldurs Gate 3, Final Fantasy 16, maybe even Jedi: Survivor. And remakes like Dead Space and Resident Evil. Very stiff competition this year.

When there was hype for baulders gate (the soon to be PS5 exclusive) we got tangible interesting stats and videos showing how great the game will be. 174 hours of cutscenes inc. sex with a druid in bear form, 1000 of interactable NPC, 14,000 endings 2 million lines of dialog, and before the game was truly out a ton of quarky interesting reactions between characters and NPC. We got none of that with Starfield. Do we even have any interesting NPC interaction shown yet or any clue as to the nonlinearity and consequence of choice? All the game has going for it advertisement wise is Skyrim came out 12 years ago.
