I had Cadbury finger's the other day the chocolate was so thin you could see the biscuit through it and tasteless same as digestive biscuits they think we stupid to not notice the decline in quality

I was a Cadbury’s girl for sooooooo many years. I’m 66 years old and I can’t tell you how utterly disappointed I am with what they’ve done to this once superbly delicious chocolate. Is there nothing these greedy corporate losers can’t just leave alone. Can anyone suggest a lovely creamy chocolate I will enjoy instead please, because I won’t be buying anything Cadbury again, it tastes foul.

I was at the market in Lincoln in 2019, it was incredibly bland, lots of tat and there was a dozen alternative medicine stalls, magnet therapy, aromatherapy and so on. I'm glad it's gone

Im 64 and when I was a kid chocolate tasted so much different........ It was when we had European laws and regulations put upon us that they took animal fat out and replaced it with vegetable fats, that was the start..... Now I dont think they put even the coco in they used to...... Cadburys used to be morish,,,,, not any more,,,,,, the people and rulers that be,,,, destroyed our chocolate..... Like everything else they lay there hands on.. What Id do for an original bar of chocolate made with the original recipe......

Cadbury chocolate used to taste delicious. I haven't eaten the crap since Craft ruined the chocolate and sacked British workers.

Cadbury would turn in his grave. How can you sell a company with so much history? Bring it home before it's too late. I bet most British chocolatiers are now retired or have passed on. Profit before product or people.

Once you’ve seen and heard the Australian dubbed version of the West Indian guy talking to his son… they’ve changed the narrative as well as the accents and, together with the fact i cannot remember ever seeing a British West Indian in Aus, it’s cringingly implausible. Such lazy advertising.

I have some sympathy for the market traders because the Council's charge extortionate amounts for a pitch that the traders have to re-coop their fees in some way or another. Years ago, you would expect a trader to be selling produce at bargain prices due to lack of overheads but not any longer. Hence, I don't go there.

(he he he) Unfortunately the British have better taste buds than Americans We really think American hersheys is the worst chocolate ever made. So do not try to make it smaller, keep it the same and increase the cost by a small amount. We do not take kindly to being screwed by investors remember a fair price is a good way of doing it. You want to screw people do it in the states not over here we will just tell you to piss off.

Ask any chocolate maker in Europe they will tell you Cadburys is not chocolate less coco more veg fat than Europe taste tells you everything 😢

I buy chocolate at a local chocolate deli, have not bought Chadbury's since the 'sellout'. As I was passing their products in a local supermarket, I spotted the price of a small bag of chocolate buttons and thought, 'you have to be joking'.

No way was it worse than Britvics takeover of C&C which led to them reformulating Club Orange, Club Lemon and Rock Shandy which now have sweeteners and taste like piss!

Chocolate melts at approx. 32-35 degrees C, an additive is added to Cadbury's Australia because weather gets so hot here, to increase it's melting temp. I personally don't like Cadbury's in Australia it tastes of sugar plus chemical taste. Aldi provides Belgian, Italian all are far superior

Interesting, I found Cadbury to be a wonderful surprise at the train stations when I was hiking in Scotland decades ago. Then here in the states a few years ago, I purchased a Cadbury and found it to be rather, nothing special. Thanks for this video. It sure explains that my taste buds and memories weren’t going bad, just another big corporation destroying a great product.

The YCC gains 10K in rent for a hut ,so about 100 huts makes 100K ( food huts win .... a few break even and some lose but they still have to cough up 10K for rent ) it is a rip off and also it takes away the true message of Christmas by not being allowed to say 'Happy Christmas' ... Happy holidays ? really ? All this is pushed by local gov't ,it is profit making for them and that's all it is

In comparison, I found myself in Hamburg a week before Xmas this year. Here's how that went... They didn't have one official market. Instead, it clustered where it made sense. Whereever there was a bit of open space that could take it, there was a little bit of Xmas market. All drinks used reusable mugs (3 EUR pfand), most were drinking Feuerzangenbowle (a warm, spiced mulled wine) for ~6 EUR or Kakao (hot chocolate) for ~4 EUR. Food-wise, it ranged from 5-8 EUR for things like Bratwurst, Gyros, grilled salmon, garlic mushrooms and soups. As for stores, I never saw two stalls very obviously selling the same merchandise. Some traditional Xmas decorations, some nice little gifts / trinkets, one store I saw sold nothing but Stollen and oranges. But as my comment might suggest, the vast majority of stalls were food and drink. It was basically a christmassy "restaurants and bars" but in the streets.

Bournemouth resident here - we get the market and its exactly as described in the videos, cheap crap and overpriced food. It doesn’t seem to get more crowded than any other busy day in town centre but yeah it just isn’t worth going to at all
