Thanks for the video and information, so sad that this will not work on my 99 Subaru legacy GT, but so happy that it will work on my wife's 15 legacy 3.6R.
to be honest, I can't see the gap on the morimoto fog lights either, from far away, because I'm not crouching down to find a gap...why are people concerned about the gap btwn the fog light and the bezel? with a gap, air can flow around the light, keeping it cooler and gives water/snow a place to go vs pooling in the bezel
@@theaudiogarage7461 Thanks for the clarification! I probably won't get the pros (as I hear they are not road legal) but I'm seriously considering the sports. Good to see the positive results of the ss3!
We do not, they are super simple though. Portion of the bottom splash guard comes off, one bolt comes off the mount, take the old ones out and put the new ones in. Caleb (the owner of the vehicle) is actually upgrading to the MAXs soon, so we will see if he can give us instructions on how to swap them out. Thanks for watching!
Hello. Are the Pro a pure white color or do they have a hint of blue-ish? I want my foglights to match my LED DRL which are pure white. On the Instagram pictures I’ve seen the Pro to have a blue-ish color compare to the sport.
The pros are actually warmer than the sports, they are also a lot wider and a bit brighter. These pros match my SL1 headlight bulbs nearly perfectly. I apologize it took so long to reply, RUclips never notified me of your comment.
Morimoto is the one you want if you actually want them for fog
Outstanding. And heck, for what they cost, they better be damn good right? lol Did you ever find a way to keep them on with high beams on?
Thank you.
Thanks for upload! Got a 2010 Leggy I'm at the same point with...my top choices were these two. Looks like I'm going with the SS3's!
Great comparison makes you always want the xb for actually driving lights and the ss3 for another flood light.

Your wife will love them!!

great video really show the difference
Thank you!!! I have the MAXs on order, I'll do another video comparing the pros to those too :-)
@@theaudiogarage7461 thats awesome, i have the pro in yellow in the mail. Installing them on my 2019 rav4 can't wait
@@dsa420meh7 You're going to love them! They were literally a night and day difference from the Morimoto XB.
Great comparison video. Are these the "sport" or "pro" versions of the ss3 fog?
Thanks!
Hello Chris, I just realized I didnt say it anywhere in the video. These are the pros. Updating the description right away!
I just updated the description. Sorry about that Chris!

Hey Chris, the pros are most certainly road legal. They are stamped SAE right on the front. My opinion? Spend the extra on the pros!
@@gt5fx these are the SAE fog pattern.
Do you have a video on how these were replaced? Thanks 🙏🏻

@@theaudiogarage7461 Thanks for the reply, I actually figured it out myself and was able to replace them without using a lift or a ramp.
Great video, thanks for the comparison!

Can you provide a link to them?
Can you drive with the fogs on all the time or will they strain your eyes from how bright they are.
I wired them in so they are on all the time. They don't strain my eyes at all, they are absolutely awesome.
Great video
Thank you Garnet! This is my personal vehicle and I was absolutely astonished at how much brighter these Diode Dynamics fogs are!
