I have been knitting for almost 40 years and I have always been afraid to try this stitch. Well I’ve conquered it now thanks to this video! It’s great advice to practice with one or two stitches first. I know other people have said the stitch is not secure but I never had that problem at all. To me, this has been the best tutorial for this stitch.
Amazing that I found your video. I’ve got this pattern and knew the loops were not looking right. And I was right but that is all sorted now after following your great instruction. Thank you 😊
Thanks very much! I am trying to follow a different pattern that uses this loop stitch method and I've had a hard time finding a tutorial that is like this, worked from the back! I almost gave up!
I bought this pattern a while back and could not get my head around the 3 loop stitch, after watching your tutorial I'm now half way through knitting the back ,thank you so much xxx
Thank you so much for helping me! I’m not doing the pattern showing, however mum made me one of those when I was a little girl. Sadly mum passed last year so your help was invaluable. Thank you once again. Xx
Great tutorial, thank you, I am knitting dolls hair which calls for 3 loops, have done it 5 failed times then found your video, thank you so much this has really helped me.
Thank you for this tutorial. I had read and reread the pattern over and over (vintage pattern) but couldn’t work it out. My mother used to knit things like this all the time but it had me stumped!
Thanks for this video. Very helpful. I’ve knitted this pattern in the past and for the life of me I couldn’t remember how to do the loop stitch. Am going to have to buy extra yarn though. 😂. And sadly didn’t move the loop group back to the left needle which creates a twist and helps stability. Not going to rip it back (just yet) and see how it holds.
I have been trying to work the loops out for ages thank you for showing this video what would you recommend the loops to be for a new born thank you very much
When I do my loops if I pull them they pull through if you get what I mean eg If I've got three loops then pull one of them the others get small and the one I pull gets big, does this happen if you pull them or am I not knitting into them right?
