Solid selections! Here's my picks for best (and a few honorable mentions): WCI: Bite Force vs Overhaul. Super close match between two grapplers, the best Overhaul has ever looked. (Honorable Mention: Tombstone vs Witch Doctor) WCII: Nightmare vs Beta. Hard choice with all the great matches from S2. A true nail-biter between two of my favorite bots that year, and the last time Nightmare has been truly relevant. (Honorable Mention: Witch Doctor vs Red Devil) WCIII: Tombstone vs Minotaur. Two monstrous spinners ripping into each other while the arena gets torn apart around them. Crazy. (Honorable Mention: Sawblaze vs Monsoon) WCIV: Tombstone vs RotatoR. So many incredible matches in this season, but this one might be the most brutal. (Two Honorable Mentions this time: Cobalt vs Minotaur and End Game vs Death Roll) WCV: HUGE vs Mammoth: Absolute circus of a battle with Mammoth demonstrating that 250-pound bots can be gymnasts too. (Honorable Mentions: P1 vs SMEE and Sawblaze vs Uppercut) BH: RotatoR vs Captain Shrederator. Shrederator looked badass in this fight, even RotatoR at peak form was sweating a little. (Honorable Mention: Bloodsport vs Lockjaw) WCVI: Minotaur vs End Game. Proof that all you need to overcome the Fork Game is a 60-pound drum, class-act driving skill and zero fear. (Honorable Mention: Yeti vs Skorpios) BCI: Mad Catter vs Hypershock. Post-season fight to the death between super-aggressive verts with nothing left to lose. (Honorable Mention: Witch Doctor vs Hypershock) WCVII: Sawblaze vs Minotaur. Another season of classics that are hard to choose from, but this could've been the Final and no one would have left unsatisfied. (Honorable Mentions: Minotaur vs Cobalt and End Game vs Copperhead) BCII: Hypershock vs Claw Viper. Alex Bales makes a solid impression against the swiftest control bot to enter the box. (Honorable Mention: Black Dragon vs Whiplash)
Reminds me, I left a few out (in the CC series I will count classes other than Heavyweight as well): Season 1.0: Killerhurtz vs Mauler. Overall a pretty weak season with only a few notable bouts, but this one was up there. A great win for John Reid after his bot's pneumatic axe was utterly destroyed by Mauler, probably the most dangerous heavyweight that season. (Honorable Mention: Ziggo vs Missing Link) Season 2.0: Biohazard vs Vlad the Impaler. This rematch was the first robot fight I ever saw, and it shaped all my expectations going forward. An incredible back and forth between two early titans of the sport. (Honorable Mention: Diesector vs War Machine) Season 3.0: Vladiator vs Diesector. The first truly remarkable BB season with a score of great fights especially in the Finals, but the best brawl was in the SHW division. A battle so close and good it had the crowd chanting for three more minutes. (A few Honorable Mentions this time! Minion vs Vladiator, Gamma Raptor vs Dr. Inferno Jr, Nightmare vs Slamjob, T-Minus vs Sunshine Lollibot) Season 4.0: Ziggo vs The Big B. Gary Gin makes his first televised appearance(?) in what was probably the closest win Ziggo ever had against a nigh-unkillable wedge. Lots of incredible fights this season. (Honorable Mentions: Surgeon General vs Frostbite, Nightmare vs BattleRat, M.O.E. vs The Matador, Wedge of Doom vs Scrap Daddy Surplus) Season 5.0: Vladiator vs Maximus. My head says it should be Diesector vs Final Destiny but my gut says this one, simply for the sheer amount of fast metal flung around the box. The CC years end on a high note before the show went into a 13-year hibernation. (Honorable Mentions: Diesector vs Final Destiny, Warhead vs Nightmare, Hazard vs T-Minus, Ziggo vs Code: BLACK) Desperado (WCIII): Lucky vs Gigabyte. Canadian flipper beats the crap out of Google Chrome, far from the only time Gigabyte would be left spinning on its head like a dreidel but still a memorable win. (Honorable Mention: Valkyrie vs Hypothermia) Desperado (WCIV): Black Dragon vs Minotaur. Brazil's two best heavyweight teams taking it all the way to the bell with a ruthless match of driving skill. Has the energy of a Championship Final. (Honorable Mention: Captain Shrederator vs Black Dragon) Re:MARS: Bronco vs Free Shipping. A spectacular display of what made Bronco one of the greats in its class, sadly this was to be its last hurrah. (Honorable Mention: Witch Doctor vs Tombstone) Re:MARS II: Hypershock vs Tombstone. The only truly great fight in the whole thing, Tombstone nearly crippling its opponent in two massive hits before becoming a fog machine, both bots on fire and Hypershock just barely hanging on. (Honorable Mention: Cobalt vs Skorpios)

Ghost Raptor would differ. But I think this is why s2 implemented that strict primary active weapon rule
somebody likes blacksmith lol
I do like Blacksmith, but honestly they just seem to be a magnet for great fights seeing as it's durable and well-driven
@@RobotCombatNerd but they dont have a weapon though.
@@MauriceTheLesser Yes they do, they quite clearly have a hammer.
@@RobotCombatNerd please provide a piece of evidence that their hammer isn't decorative.
@@MauriceTheLesser The fact that it's able to swing and hit it's opponents, as shown in this video. If a hammer with fire shooting out of it isn't a weapon then I don't know what is.
rotator was gonna win that fight but then tantrum stole it
Shame the Robot Wars remake nerfed what the house robots could do to a competitors bot.
Sawblaze merc'ing Minotaur really does good for my heart. I never liked that bot and the drivers always seemed like an ass.
