- This AutoCAD 2019 tutorial shows how to download the complete software for free. The video concentrates on how to obtain AutoCAD Software for students or teachers with full capabilities and no difference from the production software or full version while been totally free. The video provides the step by step instructions and a brief introduction you need to download The AutoCAD 2019 Student Version. However, using the same instructions you can get other version like AutoCAD 2016 - 2018. You can also follow these instructions to get other products like Revit 2019, Inventor 2019, Maya 2019 and other Autodesk software. Although it is available in most countries, unfortunately it is not the case for all.

Hello for everyone. Just a quick update on this tutorial.
When it was prepared Autodesk did not have in place a mechanism to double check whether you are a student or educator. However, since then, they have moved to request proof of such claims in an effort to limit the use of educational licenses. Please be aware that this is not for every case but specially if your institution or country is not 100% clear from their perspective. Then they will request you to upload proof of such. I think this clarification is necessary for those coming now to see the video. All the best and good luck while learning AutoCAD!

However, when I tried to reinstall it , actually planning to download civil 3d student version, I was prompted for the complete details of my account.
Was asked to send a copy of my 'student' files. I thought that was the end of it.
Good thing, my download files on their site is still accessible.
It was from there that I am still able to download aCAD 2019
Was stuck at the licensing tho .. good thing there was a video about offline activation

It's telling me it can't provide licence details at this time. I didn't receive the licence email and it tells me this when I press on "Install Now"

I'm having the same issue. I entered a yahoo account email as a student, which didnt not work. I think this video is outdated and Autodesk has caught up to the loop holes.
@@cesarh911 I don't think so as multiple people are still able to download it. However, it's true that there is slight variations but nothing you can't handle. It highly depends on the country though as some are not able to use this steps. Best of luck!

Many things have changed since 2018... I had an activated student version and it expired, in less than a year...Now, I try to download it again, and it requires a verification of my student identity.

There is no catch if you know what is AutoCAD. As a matter of fact to learn it, most people will have to go to a school and pay for it at least here in U.S. This video's intention is just to provide a way for most people to download the software and use it free without having to pay for it. @@easycad4you it asks for proof of student status basically wanting your education details uploading to an unsecured server. Sod that I found a free cad program that works fine . Auto desk are to greedy

Gary Unfortunately, they have just started asking for student proof. When this video was made in 2018, they didn’t ask for proof.

I have downloaded in this way. But in case of signing in while using the app it is telling me that 'the clock in your computer is not correct'. I can't use it, don't know ehat should I do now.

Sorry buddy, but its a trial. You can clearly see at the install point at 4:15. Trial en.us install. So this is not a full version.
Hello Ajl2017, let me add a clarification on your point. It is not a trial once you register the product with the codes Autodesk sends you, then it becomes a full version. If you don't register the product after downloading then it is. The video indicates how to do it all and receive the full version for 3 years as its what Autodesk allows. Normally that should detect if you are using Windows if it doesn't please confirm what OS you are using.

@@edgarrl3586 Hello, sometimes you will have an unsupported OS but it always give you an error which seems not to be your case. What you describe i have not come across though. I think that this Autodesk post might help you. Hello,by Terms on "I agree" before "install" i read its was "limited time license.." and "...fees" (something like that) it is do this is free...no payment needs right?Only download for free without pop up money right?
Sorry to reply now. Yes is absolutely free, however they expect you to not use it to make money out of a free license as it is intended to help you learn AutoCAD and not profit out of it.

What you do when it ask bout transcript
A transcript is like your grades from the school. Its a way they verify what you said about been a student. Wow Autodesk is going ballistic now. Let me know how it goes and best of luck!

What can I do to avoid the "student version" view on the prints
Hello, for years Autodesk used a "watermark" on the student versions. This was removed for versions 2015-2018 but unfortunately it was just re-introduced in the 2019 version. However, assuming you have an account with Autodesk, the workaround is to download and use CAD 2017 or 2018 and work with those in case you don't want the "watermark" indicating the drawing was produced with an 'educational version'. Please let me know if it works and hope this helps!

I want to download the student version and get CAD certified on Inventor but was worried id have to pay for a license or have to have a university learning code of some sort (been graduated for some time now).
