      The Autocad modern UI it's a failure in my opinion. It makes harder to sketch. Autocad Classic Workspace is the best. Why? Because you have all the tools in front of you all the time not tabs that you must go trough them. I use commands this days for faster sketching but this is my opinion after 13 years of using it.

    • @lowellmccormick6991
      @lowellmccormick6991 5 лет назад

      @@alexandruzaharie-butucel1102 For production drafting/detailing, the ribbon just gets in the way and takes up screen space. Most of the commands I use are under my left hand on the keyboard using a customized pgp file. I use the classic workspace also. I have a couple of tool bars turned on along with the pull down menus. However, I've worked with good detailers who like all the UI bells & whistles.

    Hi thanks for this learning video i am completely new in this whole autocad/autodesk world but i really believe in this but due to my educational background i am wondering is i belong in this field or not.
    i have only secondary school education and during my school period i was very poor in mathematics. My question is am i fit in this industry and if yes how can i learn? Secondly what is the difference between AutoDesk and AutoCad? Please your though will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    • @bai
      @bai  5 лет назад +1

      Hello there! You do not need math, you just need the basis of geometry - that would help to make symmetrical stuff, unless you are going to design something for art :) AutoCAD is the name of the product, whereas Autodesk is the company that realizes it!

    • @doherty12ronan
      @doherty12ronan 5 лет назад +3

      Hi, I'm a student also (industrial design) and I'm awful at math's so don't worry, that's not a huge issue for using AutoCAD. AutoDesk is the name of the company, and AutoCAD is one of their products. The best way to learn AutoCAD is by doing. Find online tutorials and just follow along, and then when you feel comfortable enough try drawing and building things yourself, be creative, and experiment. Hope this helped

    Hi, sorry for probably asking a stupid question, but I do costume and stage design and have been asked by my new job if I'm able to work with this programme. Can someone tell me why this should be better for me to use than just any other sketching/drawing programme? Cause I'm not sure why I would need a programme like this to draw a circle if I can just do that with a pencil :/ or does it help with calculating angles and stuff oder anything architecture related?

    • @bai
      @bai  4 года назад

      For sketches and drawings it is better Illustrator or CorelDraw.
