    Probably one of the best videos I watched tutorial-wise, you're really good at explaining and teaching, you go step by step without skipping basics we're "supposed to already know" like a lot of programming tutorials do.

      Thanks a lot +Zendreax. For me it took quite a long time to learn these basics as this software sometimes can be tricky.

      Hi +MaZEEZaM. Thank you very much. I don't put background music because I think it distracts and, people who like to watch tutorials with music, can still put it themselves.

    Hi everyone
    I am 69 YO but thirsty to learn. tutorial is very good. My question is this
    when I import a PDF file the distance measurement goes crazy. for instance the dimension of a room 12' x 14' it shows 1' x 1'2". I have been changing scale and unit to what the pdf plan is still the same. what am I not doing?

    • @CADinblack
      @CADinblack  7 лет назад +8

      Hello +Massoud Vossugh. First of all thank you very miuch for appreciating this video.
      When you import a PDF file you have to scale the pdf to have the dimensions that you desire.
      Type command SCALE -> select your drawing in pdf -> select a base point -> type "reference" -> then choose the first point of a distance that you know the dimension -> choose second point -> type the dimension that you want between the first and second point. I hope this helps :)
