Sounds like a good place to use the Clear Skies shout, get your morning practice in similar to the Greybeards and their fancy tower. Having an interior fast travel spot is handy for homes behind multiple loading screens.
Thanks for covering this, I won’t be buying it because it’s just too dark for my liking and you have saved me a couple of euros! Cheers and Happy new year 😊
Great video, and you're right about these player homes offering no more than some free mods, even less in most cases, apart from Goldenhills Plantation which can actually change the way you play
I will be back at some point, I have one more guide to do, I'm not sure when as I have other stuff going on, plus my new mic has decided to stop working... But thanks for the comment it's very much appreciated
I'm glad to see you back. Do the weapon replicas replace for you as well? When the house respawns, all the replicas are put back in the chest I've found them in. And the uniquely named sword does respawn as well. The Amulet doesn't however.
Hi Tiddly, I saw today a new paid mod was released called Spell tome Crafting. It costs 500 credits. With it you can craft existing spell tomes as well as new ones such as a spell that temporarily fortify your movement speed, improves alchemy by 25%, one that fortifies your barter, and a variety of new summons such as mudcrabs and rabbits. You may want to look into this one. It certainly sounds like a great addition to many builds. Speed can be combined with the fishing ring that does the same thing, barter speaks fof itself, and the fortify alchemy cab be dragged on top of all the other methods we have for that already.
@@TiddlyOggy Great! I was hoping you'd come back to this. I don't play Skyrim at the moment but enjoy checking the paid mod catagory to satisfy my completionist needs. And this is one paid mod I can really enjoy I see. Mages are getting more and more diversity in this game this way, and I love that this is thanks to official mods. There's also a smaller mod that makes dialoge vensters much easier to navigate. So quick in fact that you might tab down and click enter on a random conversation answer before you know it. It sure requires a get to used to, but for 100 credits it's a very nifty enrichment for the game.
@@TiddlyOggy Pokémon Go and the 3DS Pokémon games. I'm working on my Living Origin Dex and as connectivity between the 3DS games and the Switch will one day cease to exist I want to be able to transfer my old collection up sooner than later. Stress-full completionist first-world issues like these we thankfully don't have in games like Skyrim. What are you playing at the moment?
Been playing Starfield, which tbh is a bit of a disappointment, just starting Cyberpunk 2077 which (from what I've seen so far) is an insanely good game
What a lovely place, specially the outside, it's very cozy, and i don't think i'll actually mind the bad weather, it makes it even more cozy for me if that makes sense. I'm not a fan of the replicas though, not at all. I'm currently on a fallout kind of mood, but i can already see myself spending hours doing inventory management all comfy like in that place when i return to Skyrim.
Someone after my own heart,,,, I judge a home mainly on inventory management and ease of crafting even more than aesthetics , that's why I love Myrwatch so much
@@TiddlyOggy amen to that. I like that they're still making content and mods even with the anniversary edition now out that basically has every single creation club piece included.
Anniversary Edition, is pretty good imo, you get so much extra content which adds hours of gameplay, plus really useful stuff like Goldenhills, wild horses and new spells etc, but like I said Skyrim is just one of those games that you can pick up after years of not playing it and have a good time... It has a certain charm that most games just don't have
Cheers for this wee video, which helped my (not)buying decision a lot. I'm addicted to player homes and have come across many that are, quite frankly, superior to this one (like Solstice Castle, Fy Nyth, Ancient Wizard Hat, and on Bethesda itself Windstad Mine. Or Ruins of R'lyend, where you practically end up as sort of a Captain Nemo in the Sea of Ghosts). Of course it's highly subjective, but when I pay for something, I'd like to have living chickens and a "little more" etc. 🤭
Tbh, most of these "Verified Creations" are not worth buying, there's plenty out there that are better and free... I liked this little home, but I personally wouldn't buy it, I'm not even going to do a video on the other homes even though I've bought them
That's kind of what I've been hinting at in my last couple of videos, if you're paying you should expect something far more than we're getting with these verified creations imo
Good vid. However, I will NEVER buy a mod. I have supported mods in the past, but being forced to pay for a mod is ridiculous. You can tell Bethesda sold out.
Kinggath’s are worth every penny. Bards College Expansion is on par with official DLC if not better. East Empire Expansion is also great and synergizes with BCE.
6:46 that "Get Out Of The Way" was wild! XD. Nice video my good sir.

Good to see another video from you.
The Clear Skies shout turns sour weather into a sunny day. No mod needed.

Yeah I agree
even then, theres a free mod that does nearly the same thing
I hope you come back Tiddly. So many more mods that i would love your review. Some of them are excellent. Love the Bard mod.

Thanks for this, I'm looking at this, might take a while to go through it all though 😃

That is a pretty place for sure. Thanks for the heads up, Tids!
It's pretty, and a decent mod for sure, but lets be honest there's as good or better out there for free
@@TiddlyOggy true!
Changing the floors and the bedding, I'm assuming that can only be done with the PC and Xbox version or can the PlayStation version do that too?
I'm not sure what the difference is between the PC/XBox and the PS versions, so I can't answer that, sorrry
@@TiddlyOggy it's on I appreciate your comment at least
Why build a house on a small glacier like that though?
Oo fr gonna download Skyrim again now 😂 great vid as always
Same here. I need to get back into this game
You can pick Skyrim up in another 5 years and it'll still be a good game... It's the gaming version of your favourite slippers 😃

Yeah, paid homes really need to be more than just a 'mod of the week' attempt.
Unless we get something like Battlehorn Castle or something that actually brings more to the game I'm done with house creations.

Nice paid for it and it's bugged and can't get in.
AE content?
No Nexus?
Sorry for wrong the "click"

Wait ya'll are BUYING mods? HAHAHA
Right? Creations is a joke. Another way for Bethesda to squeeze every last drop out of skyrim, because we know starfield is a joke
