Im concerned that he has not sought the permission of the parents or the standards he is supposed to be teaching to? AI is not in any certified curriculum. What if the parents don’t want their child exposed to AI?
Question, why would it matter? Does a teacher need the permission of the parent to do everything? Or, is it a case by case basis? Also, enlighten me as to why a parent would say "No, my son/daughter cannot use Chat GPT to help them understand the curriculum"?
@@zeitgeist1762 its simple. You are not a parent. Parents need to decide what their children are taught. We know nothing of what AI will do. For all we know Chatgpt will decide people are the problem and start convincing teens to commit suicide, do drugs, or anything. The issue is we don’t know. Like teaching kids kink with books like “this book is gay” teachers can no longer be trusted to do whats in kids best interests. Only a parent knows whats in their child’s best interest.
