    This is EXTREMELY relevant for kids today. I agree 100 percent all the way across (starting at 11 to get motor skills down, etc) I see waaaay too many kids going to "speed" camps, playing too many games (travel sports), and completely neglecting strength. Strength has BY FAR the largest growth potential from age 13-18 (like well over 100 percent) and will be the driver for things like running, jumping, performance, and injury prevention.
