The humming on the downrigger is from the steel cable. If it is really annoying you, there is a braided downrigger line that will totally get rid of that sound. Hope it helps. Great content by the way. Loving the videos. You just about have me convinced to get the pond prowler 10. Happy fishing!!
I’m picking up another small downrigger for next season, so I’ll have to switch em out with some braided downrigger cable. Thanks for the nice comment!
Nice video. I have the same boat. Anything that needs to be clamped needs to be reinforced. I don't drill the boat believing the material is too thin. I put 3 thicknesses of 2x4 on the bow to keep my 30 pound thrust trolling botor from twisting in every direction. It's solid now.
Dude nice video. I'm looking into getting this boat for our small pond. I think you sold me on it. That was a bummer watching that rod holder sink to the bottom.
Yah, totally agree with u. Since the making of this video I have actually attached new pieces on there to hold the downriggers and it works much better
Under the description of the video I have linked everything on my boat. It should be listed as “protective tape for hull” or something along those lines. Hope this helps!

Mine twists from time to time, I may have to do that! Thanks for the tip

Good vid, been there losing gear and fish at the same time, I feel your pain.
It sucks! Thanks for the comment
wider pieces of wood would distribute the weight even better.

Humbug what ponds are you fishing in in the Treasure Valley
They do make a braided line for your downrigger and that will eliminate that noise
I’ve been looking into that, may have to make the change this year!
Where did you get the rubber on the bottom back of boat for dragging??

Do you think the battery box can be mounted on the side of the boat to free up more space? What do you think
U could move it to the side a little bit, but space is extremely limited on this! Plus the even weight distribution helps with stability
love ur videos! tell rhaya i said hi next time shes at work!
Haha will do! Thank you
Will it survive the ocean?
Don’t know, and I probably won’t ever know🤣 I’d check on Cannon’s website to see how they fare in salt
