Wow...thats really nice bro. I jus got done with my pelican intruder 12 about a month ago. Nothing on your level but I am proud of it being my first and only build.i get alot of compliments on it. I wish I could share photos and short video with you,I don't have Facebook or any kind of social media.
I’ve been looking at one of these that’s been sitting in my grandpa’s backyard for a while but none of the conversions I had seen had been this professional you guys have inspired a new build thank you
Those little plastic boats rock. I power mine with a trolling motor and cruise all over on it. The Sun Dolphin 8 footer I have is unbelievably stable and gets into shallow water like a champ. I thought about mods for it, but the most it needs is bolt on stuff for what I use it for. Take it out on the water, you'll see.
You earned my subscription. building out a bass raider right now. props to you for how far you’ve come and your artwork and love for art, one Love, brother.
Albert Einstein once said " Imagination is more important than knowledge" . T Rosevelt wrote " the man in the arena " . Both apply with Your efforts . Kudos . You get a well deserved Louisiana " Bon travail ! Tres bon ! Magnifique !
Whoever told you that you couldn't do it , not only am I glad you proved them wrong but had it been me i would have told them too go bleap themselves because me personally am tired of hearing people telling people that they can't do something , you know what I'm saying !!! Anyway , this was an epic video , making the boat and putting in the your hard work . Thank you for sharing this video !!! 💯🙏😇✌️🙌💪😄✌️👍
Just stumbled across this video. No doubt you have a creative mind. I have built a few river jet boats now, and have always used the Eva decking with lines. Now I’m thinking I need to redo mine. Great work man!
@@TinyBoatNation your welcome been watching your channel for a long time now I’ve used some of your ideas in my aluminum vhull and on a center console I just picked up but I have no where near the skill that you do your a true master artist at what u do and a inspiration to any one that watches your channel keep up the amazing work
Well, I didn't know this could be done to an 8ft plastic boat, but bravo, once again you rose to the challenge! It looks great! I want to take a 10fter or a Pelican 12fter and 'Tiny Boat Nation' It! Well done! I get what you mean about natural artists versus machines. Another awesome build! You make it look easy!
Beautiful project guys! those little plastic dinghies are cool and nearly indestructable as well as stable...it would be cool to see a 16 foot version of one lol
Two years later this motor is going strong ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBZWgzfpS2Jj7JqIHyaSZjyVHNUgCKCBf Just uploaded a video of it after 2 years. We use it probably a dozen days each year on our small raft.-original review- We got this motor the other day and tested it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems good to me. It has all the features advertised - the motor housing is metal. We will see how it performs longer term and I will revise this review if needed. Some initial observations:- Good thrust, moves our boat around really well- It comes with a circuit breaker but no switch - so there's no way to kill the motor other than yanking the connection off the battery. I installed an inline switch.- The mount bracket is plastic and I worry it might break- There are a number of plastic parts that I worry about, but the most important ones are metal or some kind of composite
I love the channel and the idea behind it. Not very many Bass boats are set up for multiple conditions but a modified tin can is and can be optioned for any situation they see fit
Bro, just came across your channel.. i'm sooooo Impressed.. i exceed the weight limit and my wife won't get on this lil piece of love. but oh so awesome.. Keep up the great work
You could take 4 inch PVC about 6ft long glue and cap the end and attach them to the side of your boat as pontoons for increased stability! You could also add a Schrader valve to each pontoon and fill them with compressed air for alot more buoyancy! PVC can handle thousands of psi of air, even though you wouldn't need that much lol
This would be a serious weapon for pond hoping in my area... currently dumping 16ft valco into ponds. i can only fish the ponds on weekends to access the ramp, but this would allow me to fish the ponds anyday of the week
I've had my Pond Prowler for many years, I like it better than the other boat's I had in past. Now my Dad's 16ft pontoon boat has advantage's for bigger waters, but the pond prowler hasn't been to bad even on a few rivers even.
Amazing how stable they are. The foam in the hull is water logged on mine and I’ll stand on the edge of it with no tipping. Definitely got my drive going to get mine rebuilt
Something like a little swim platform on the back and you could strap up cooler to it. The cooler would add reserved valency on the back to counter the weight of the batteries.
I know I am late to the comment section here but I did have a suggestion for your artwork. I etch and carve quite a bit and the Dremel Stylo is a game changer for intricate detailed work like what you did on the fish/water feature. The line width is insanely thin and really allows you to do incredible detailed work. As you mentioned, the bits vary in width with some allowing lines like 0.5 mm, 0.7mm and probably finer. I can only imagine what you'd be able to do with one of those! Love the channel, content and all your work. Hope to be customizing my own 12-14' here soon!
Absolutely Awesome!!! Im hooked ! Just bought a pond prowler 90 yesterday for 150 with a minn kota 30# trolling motor! Only issue is a small crack on top left( silicone?) And i suspect water logged foam. ( its HEAVY)
I'd be really interested in what you could do with a kayak. They have become so grossly over priced, for a "fishing" model. I have a sit on top, non-fishing cheaper pelican, 10ft. I'd be super interested to see what you could do with one. Keep up the good work, love that your not afraid to fail and do something differently for the community.
@@TinyBoatNation 👍 The biggest downfall for me and what I think makes people the most uncomfortable is storing your crate behind you, and having to turn around. Looking forward to seeing your work.
Best cheapest fishing kayak I bought is a lost creek pro angler 12 peddle drive. It was like 1800. Still a lot. But better priced than most other brands. And it’s an amazing kayak as far as strength, weight, and it’s superrr sturdy on the water. I can’t flip it
Both are kinda nice .. excellent craftsmanship sir. But I dig the OG boat..just cuz it looks like it feels like a pro boat. And has all the storage I'd need
That is the perfect size for me to hit some of the smaller ponds and lakes in SE Michigan. Time for this old man to start searching parts and a base vehicle.
It's cool to have all electric boat. I would look for a way to keep it charged with solar while in storage, like lay a panel on the deck. I wonder if there is a cart or wheel system for these boats like the ones for kayaks to help with launching
Brother you have some mad skills. You make it look easy. Hey I know if not subject related. But I noticed your tool organization in garage. For Milwaukee stuff. I'd love to see what you did, a little closer.
Your so badass. Should be selling these in havasu I would buy one right now. IDC what the wife says it would make me so happy haha! Keep it up man. So cool.
Love the bump board routed right in to the turf, but a nifty little upgrade to it would be a button actuated pop up piece to actually bump the fish up to. Just a thought.
Okay so if this works I might go this route. A metal John boat is 2 grand from academy and one of these plastic looking kids toys are like 700. So not bad and could be a great way to get people into boats with out breaking the bank.
It would be neat to see you do a ground up Tango Skiff and convert it to a bass boat. It would be a fishing boat you could do with just basic tools in your garage. Would be a really neat idea IMO.
what bow mount trolling motor do you recommend for a budget build. i saw u mentioned a power drive have been looking into that. have u used the xi3 from motor guide?
Fantastic job ! I can't imagine all the work this takes like anything it's far more than one ever estimates. I'm thinking this size craft just isn't something that needs an extravagant deck. It works great as is I guess I'm sayin.
I think you should do a pond prowler giveaway!!! What I mean by that is… I’d love for you to give me that pond prowler!!! 😂 I’ve been wanting to TBN a scamp for years. Thanks for showing us all how to do it right.
I have a 14’ aluminum boat. I’d love to fix it up like you guys do. Like a deck on the front w/ a rod/reel holders and TackleBox. Also, be able to mount my trolling motor and small rear deck for Batteries and a 20quart live well. Just wondering if any of the tiny boat guys are located in Michigan and if they could reach out and help me. I would buy all the materials and would even agree to pay them for their help. I know at some places I can get a military discount on materials, so that may be a bonus.

Appreciate it
This is such a great video!
That craft looks like a blast!
Love this build....been looking at getting a pond prowler for awhile. After seeing this it's a go
You could take 4 inch PVC about 6ft long glue and cap the end and attach them to the side of your boat as pontoons for increased stability! You could also add a Schrader valve to each pontoon and fill them with compressed air for alot more buoyancy! PVC can handle thousands of psi of air, even though you wouldn't need that much lol
Buoyancy is about water displacement. Compressing the air in a sealed chamber does not make it any more buoyant
And still pvc is not recommended for air compressor use. Explosions at pressures over 135 pounds
How would you attach the PVC to the side of the boat
Like to see this made
Is there a video how to attach the pvc to the side of the boat
Bro I just ran into this video...WOW you have some serious skills! That fish logo!
Thanks!
This would be a serious weapon for pond hoping in my area... currently dumping 16ft valco into ponds. i can only fish the ponds on weekends to access the ramp, but this would allow me to fish the ponds anyday of the week
