Nice job man! I'm probably going to use your rudder ideas for mine. When I go long distances out here in the Pacific Ocean, it would be nice to lock my 6hp Tohatsu and just use a simple rudder system to make fine steering adjustments. In REALLY rough seas, it wears on me to sit sideways. Great video! I'm just starting my channel too!
@humbugvideos It was soooo nerve racking the first time. My friend thinks I'm nuts. He won't take his out of the harbor. I plan to take mine to Mexico from San Diego. Possibly to Catalina Island which is 38 miles away.
Casey consider adding about 2' of chain between the rope & anchor. It helps the anchor lay down to get a better bite. As Always thanks all the great vids
Another great video. Thanks for the ideas. Do you have any protection against wear when dragging the boat in and out of the water? If so, would like to see how you did it.
@@humbugvideos yes my stepdad told me about tiny boat nation. I got a lot of inspiration from them but I was just wondering if you might have more not mentioned in the video. Thanks!
This guy should really have more subs for the quality of his vids he’s definitely underrated, keep it up man!
@@tinytechman thank you!
Definitely looking forward to getting one in the future. Nice boat!

@humbugvideos I've yet to catch a tuna so far, but I will. Love running with the dolphins though.
Love your videos! Got my Pond Prowler 8 just before summer and love it. Your videos have given me some great ideas for mods!
Also recommend the millennium marine boat seat. Just got mine a few days ago and it’s a total game changer!
@@destoslump649 Thats the one I’m getting! Appreciate the kind words
@@destoslump649 That's awesome! Need to get that seat!! Stay tuned!

@@TheJenkins124 I have thrown some gator guard underneath but it has since rubbed off. I’m looking at some other options!
Just noticed watching this for the ump-teenth time that you mount the pole holder bases on the outside - any special reason for this - thanks
@@ratled1 Yes, on the inside it makes it really hard to secure the bracket and the rod butt stick out inside the boat too much. Good observation
Hey humbug! It’s the kid from scheels. I’m going to get a Jon boat (12ft) and deck it to have a mini bass host any tips?
@@YETI820 Go check out Tiny Boat Nation, they will have all the mods and kits to help make that boat look sick! Thanks for commenting👍🏽

Are the rudders Dutch? If so that’s a double Dutch rudder😂
Hey Casey, great videos man. I just picked up a pond prowler 8 myself. Quick question, what did you use to secure the rod holder mounts to the side?
@@danc2887 I used more of the Scotty side mount brackets, they’re awesome. I have them linked in the description too👍🏽
GOATED
5:55 Rudders for days!🤣
Do you have plans for any onboard lighting? Just curious.
@@psaub It sounds cool, but not something I have planned in the near future. Maybe at some point!
