My pond prowler has been stored outside covered with a tarp for two years now and no issues. I load it and unload into the back of my full size pickup without issues, I'm 65 years old, five feet six , two hundred pounds. I am not in shape. I do it partially loaded. The trolling motor, battery, and tackle I carry in the back seat and load Them into the boat after unloading the boat.

Exactly what I do. 😂 Almost 2 years now. It's an absolute fishing machine.

Thanks for providing this content. You’ve answered so many of the questions I had in mind in the few videos I’ve watched. I’m in the process of buying a pontoon plastic boat for me and my son. Should work well for some of the 20 acre ponds that we visit.

Have had a “tiny” boat for a while got a big flat bed on my pickup but I do use a bobcat to pick her up and set her on my bed and strap her down

Do you bring the bobcat to the boat ramp too?

Been using the bed of a truck. Its hard having to take everything out of the boat and and lifting it inro the bed. Also have to put everything back in the boat after we carry it down to the water😅

You have to spray anti corrosion spray on those ratchet straps

I have yet to find straps that were worth a crap, long term anyway. They are cool though. Can they be bolted to the trailer? The reason I got a trailer. After mods, batteries, motors. It got to heavy and time consuming loading and unloading every time. I also put on a winch to lower and pull it up canoe ramps. Personally I think the secret to storing outside is a good cover as alot of ScotchGuard. I haven't had a drop of water in mine and I store it on the trailer outside. I also keep it real taught with plastic clamps. Nice video!
