You killed it with this MOD!!!!!! Super happy i found this video. I have an 8.6 sundolphin. I've been looking for practical mods like this for over a year and this is by far the best one I've seen!
I was wanting to know how you setup the motorguide trolling motor on the front with the quick release i dont see how it is bolted down ????? thanks nice setup.
I enjoyed the video! You are very innovative, and I learned a LOT!! One question - did you use some kind of transom bracket for the trolling motor up front? Thank you Sir!
Hey man this might be a dumb question but what type of screws do you use for your mounts. Just bought a bass raider and I’m questioning drilling any holes before I ask someone who has done it.
Very nice! You got that Raider looking amazing. I do miss mine, but still enjoy getting out on the water and doing some fishing. Keep up the great videos.
Brother, I'm not just saying great job. I'm saying, GREAT JOB!! Love the casting deck. The storage underneath is awesome. Wished you lived closer to me. We'd do some serious fishing. I'm in martinsville va. Do more videos.
Hey Man, Great mod!!! What length shaft is your Motorguide Xi3? I also have 10’ Pond Prowler and a 14’ aluminum boat. I wanna make sure I can use the new Motorguide Xi3 I’m going to buy on both boats like you do.
Just subbed you. I mainly use my boat for river fishing. I see when you were towing the jon the waters were pretty choppy. How does your boat handle that. Do you get alot of water in the boat. I was thinking of taking mine out on a couple of reservoirs but I usually use my jon for that but I like the stability of the pontoon better.
Total over on everything, but to each it's own. I have an electric 3.5 hp motor and I'm picking up a gas turbo 5 hp motor. With electric you have to carry too many batteries which means cost and weight.
Is that a Traxxis on the rear? That will be my upgrade (what shaft length?). Currently running an old school Minn Kota with flip handle, gotta weigh 50#, but 100$ on CL.
Enjoyed the ending, had me smiley. I too had to use my pound prowler to tow a much bigger boat to shore. It is a hoot to see a tiny plastic boat coming to the rescue. Keep up the great work.
Great looking modifications on this one man! I want to put a floor in mine and a pedestal seat in the front. I don't want the casting deck, I really just want to have a seat to sit in while fishing that I don't have to raise my legs up to get over the seat frame on the stock one. Not sure how I am going to do that yet. But the Bass Raider looks awesome! Great work!
Same situation! I have the basshunter 120 and I can’t stand having to lift my leg to not step on rods and to get over the stock seat bracket (that tips backward if you put your hand on the back of the chair while lifting leg to get passed. Don’t wanna add the weight of a 9’x2’ sheet of plywood for deck and all pedestal seat bases protrude through the bottom of deck even if wanted to smh.
Great video and really nice work. I've got an xi3 motorguide as well and trying to figure out how to attach it to the front transom mount like you did. Is that something you made or something you bought? And have you found it to be sturdy and not make the plastic boat flex too much? Thank you for any help you can be on this.
Looks good brotha! I love these little plastic pontoons! This was the 1st boat I ever own at 15 years old. I fished out of it for a good decade. I'm gonna have to pick me up another one now. 😆 🤣
Always enjoy seeing people like myself upgrading pelican plastic boats. Nice job on yours... I have an older pelican scorpio that I'm upgrading to keep up with my ever expanding waistline😂
Cool stuff. Man, I wish I would have thought of the tote as a battery box and electrical center, I wouldn't have bought a gas motor. Got some other Ideas out of this though, thanks.

This boat is boss. One of the best bass raider builds I've ever seen. Good work my friend and thanks for the inspiration.

Truly a next level build! Makes my repurposed cutting-board mods and gym-mat look like a Jr High arts and crafts project!
Is that a Traxxis on the rear? That will be my upgrade (what shaft length?).
Currently running an old school Minn Kota with flip handle, gotta weigh 50#, but 100$ on CL.
