I have owned 3 different 1967 f series trucks. But mine didn't sit low like yours. I owned mine in the 80's and early 90's and people usually only lowered small trucks back then. But I like yours, makes me wish I still had one of my old trucks.
I've got a few more to build that will be a mix of ride heights, but I really want to do a tasteful 4x4 build. I guess I like the irony of an old truck cornering and performing better than the sports cars of that day, even comparable to today. This truck needs an update walk around...it's got a 4 bar and coilover setup in the rear and a new powerplant. Such a fun corner carver.
After driving those old '67's, I'd have a hard time taking it hard into a corner especially at first. I think I'd have to work up the courage a little at a time until I could figure out where it's new limits are. Because they did not corner well with a stock suspension. Of course they were not designed to. What you have sounds like it could be a blast to take out on the curvy country roads where I live.
Nice truck. Love the drive video, as it looks like you are driving a right hand drive truck, which we do in Australia. I am building a 1970 bump side short bed with a 5.4 290 Boss out of a GT Falcon. The GT also donated the auto and front end with rack and pinion steer.
I never knew Australia had the 5th gen (67-72) F100 , I knew about the 6th gen. That's good to know because I would love a RHD F100 Because i live in the UK.

Great video. We came very close to going Supercharged DOHC 5.4 in our shop truck about a year ago. Ended up deciding it was just too much for what we want to do with the truck. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.
Oh nice! Yea, 4-500 is plenty in these old trucks for just a fun cruiser. All the coyote trucks I've driven feel perfectly balanced, anything above that feels like it needs a cage, brakes ,etc.
Are those little round mirrors a factory option or something like for a blind spot mirror? My 72 has those and I’ve seen a couple other old bump side Fords with them.
No, these weren't a factory option. I picked these up from Hunters and they're a pretty popular option for got rodders. I think I may swap to door mirrors like factory style, though.

Hey man like your videos on Frank and the Red truck. I got a question., I'm building a 1969 F100 with CV front, I have choice of 3 rear axles - 1998 Explorer non posi drum, 1997 Grand Marquis disc non posi 3.27 gear and 03 mustang gt posi disc brakes 3.73 gear ratio, what rear would you use?
I did all of the work. The master cylinder setup us from Silver Sport Transmissions and the slave cylinder is from Modern Driveline. Just a pullout trans from an 03 mach 1.

I’ve got a 3650 I just picked up but will need a clutch, flywheel etc hence reason for swap kit. Also not 100% if I will need hydraulic clutch pedals or something different
@@ziggy760 I originally hoped to use the mustang pedals, but ended up shortening the stock clutch and brake setup from the truck and adding wilwood pedal pads. Far less fab work and looks/feels great!
EFI tank from tanks Inc for a 1970 mustang for fuel tank, stock column with borgeson joints and shaft to connect to the vic rack, and this old setup used the stock 4.6 intake tube and stock maf housing.

Deleted the cats. The old mod motor PCM is a far cry from the newer coyote stuff, so in open loop, it learned well enough to be driven and not have major issue, but typically a tune is required.
Very! The truck has a 4 link setup in the rear now, which was a huge improvement over the leafs. It was still fine with the leafs, I just can't leave stuff alone!😆
@Huey Fab LLC I'm planning on the 4 link in the rear. What axle did you end up going with on the 4 link? I've got similar size wheels and tires and am trying to avoid modifying the bed lol
Awesome truck, channel and name of your company. I’m glad you broke everything down on your build. I also have a 67 F100 with a Vic front and Explorer rear. Your engine bay looks clean and very squared away. Every other video with a 4.6 looks very crowded, with no room for error. What did you keep and leave out for your engine swap. I also see that you have AC. I know it’s a loaded question. If you have time to call/ text that would be great. I would love to pick your brain. I thought that was the Eastman building lol. I live in etown. I love the truck and hope to have something similar to it. I kinda like the 78-79 f150 style myself but definitely an amazing build

Factory cab mounts modified to maintain stock mounting location with the frame cut. Welded on versus riveted.

Stock column out of a floor shift truck with power steering. Cut the flange off, borgeson joints and collapsible shaft.

No spacer on the driveshaft. This is the old setup, but at this time, it was stock manifolds and no cats, into 2.5" stainless exhaust.
