Hmmm, perhaps I had a 12" wilton bag 1/2 to 3/4 full and needed both hands to squeeze. So I had a lot of shorts strips of icing on the vertical sides. I also found that I had to refrigerate in between colors. I could see the buttercream softening. What kind of buttercream did you use? Any tips on what I could have done?
i wonder if she used American buttercream. It tends to be thicker and holds up better in warm areas, although its too sweet for my taste. In my experience, meringue buttercreams more fluffy but don't do so well after being out in the air for awhile compared to American buttercream. It sags and droops.

Madiha Zeeshan Yes, I used the two ingredient buttercream, but adding the color helped the make it less stiff. You can add a touch of milk to it if it's too stiff? Happy caking lovely xo

+PandoraEast This is the sweet butterream, which is the American kind. I do use meringue ones for this too, but just fill the bag half way.
