Really enjoyed this jam, it is hypnotic and highly rewatchable. Can't wait to revisit it soon... Thank you for sharing. Subscribed and looking forward to more content from you guys!
I also wish I had 4 or 6 hands at times! Check out some of the old videos of Vangelis playing live in the 1970’s. What that man could do with two hands, a few synths and even some percussion was amazing. . . .
This is the type of song I could sing along to without singing actual words. Just need that reverb and I'm good. Sometimes a voice is just good at making a sound. No need for words all the time.
Gady : Yeah I understand the feeling. It’s a special thing to play together, especially since everything is improvised. We try to see each other at least once a month. I hope you find someone! :)
I Googled it. :-) I think I checked the rules about 6 months ago, but I can't remember the links. RUclips changes the rules at least annually. In any case, you have to reach out to Korg or a major retailer who sells Korg. You can't just wait for them to find you.
Dude, this is awesome stuff! Do you think I could use some of your music for a backing track in a video I'm making? I'd credit you and link your profile in the video description!
Loved it! You two connect well, musically. So what are your thoughts on the Big Sky versus the Ventris? I feel sad for the Sample and Bass. They do very well with the cheaper effects.
Thank you so much!! :) My pick would be the Big Sky, love that sound. Check out this video (also the description) for a comparison of the Ventris and GFI Specular Tempus: ruclips.net/video/ypk52n9uTlw/видео.html
Looks like Volca Sample used for percussion section? Does the sample handle all that duty, or getting some control from BeatStep pro? I'd love to see a schematic of the whole layout should you ever be super board and want to draw and share it :) Volca bass sound good too, it all sounds good! I just ordered a KeyStep myself, can't wait to start using it as a performance tool
ke0kie : Yep, all drum sounds are from the Sample, which is controlled by the Beatstep. :) Drawing a schematic is a cool idea, but I don’t have one. Hopefully this will give you some idea of how we do things: ruclips.net/video/lGTxhh5q1W4/видео.html
Very cool, but how do you coordinate your actions between each other, i mean, how does one of you know what the other does? or is it just spontanous and the music is more or less "random"? i very much like your music.
Thanks!! Most of it happens naturally, we sometimes surprise ourselves as well. :) The basic roles are always clear: the one who plays the drums (Volca Sample) also plays the bass (usually Volca Bass). The other plays chords and melodies. We don't talk a lot while we're playing, but we do let each other know when something's coming up, like when we're building up to a 'drop'. But in general, we just see where we end up, and be inspired by each other. :)
I started with the Volca Sample and Keys, and I think they are great starting points. They are very different, but are both very rich instruments.
indigo988 : I don’t remember the exact settings and it’s hard to read the knobs like this. To me it sounds like “poly” mode, with “peak” set to around 3 o’clock. I also think there’s some pitch LFO: set the “rate” to completely CCW and “pitch int” to 9 o’clock. The knob that’s tweaked is the filter “cutoff” knob. I haven’t tested it myself, so I hope it’s close! :)
Hey, I've been a active watcher of the channel on RUclips and always admiring the content and quality. An aspiring musician myself, I've been longing (and currently writing) to put together a concept album collaborating with many others. I'm actually wondering if you'd be interesting in collaboration. I think the type of style you work on would be excellent in a piece with a mix in with electronic things I've worked on. Only around five or six minutes of content that could be publicized by both. If you aren't interested, no biggie. Thank you

That deep bass just resonates through everything.
I’m so used to solo content on here, I thought I’d entered another reality when the other set of hands came in
I hate the stupid memes about "boring DAWless jams". This kind of thing is almost all I listen to most of these days. That was really awesome.
can u share some of those memes?
This is awesome. Super high quality. A big inspiration. Big ups!
3 minutes and 20 seconds into this track, and I subscribe, cheers :)
electrorganix : Thanks, welcome to the club!! :)

Damn this was a nice surprise. Subbed.
this is insane ! love it
Drums goes thru Korg Volca Sample? Nice gear set and jam :)
Why hasn't Korg gotten in touch with you guys? Who else is murdering these volcas like y'all?
Robert Humphrey : Thanks, Robert!! Yeah that’s something I wonder about sometimes as well. ;)
They will only contact you if you've "monetized" your RUclips page, but it does not appear that you have.
That's interesting I didn't know that. Makes sense, from their perspective.
Gene Pozniak : Interesting. How do you know?

How do you manage your Volca's noise? It's hardly noticeable in your videos! Love these long jams btw :)
