imagine walking through the woods tripping on shrooms and you stumble upon this ethereal jam
Exactly 💯
I’m not in the woods
Why’s everything gotta be “if I was on shrooms” nowadays? I swear we’ve evolved to a point where we need something psychoactive to just naturally trip on Shit like this. Our minds are so bored we need psychedelics to enjoy life itself
2guitarだった。幻?
@@VanBaylenyou dont naturally trip lol if you want to trip you take psycs
I hope to have a friend group like this some day
Don't hope, go find your people, ask them for a jam. Wherever you live I guarantee there's some hippy stoner musicians there who'll jam with you
What he said.
❤
Where do you live? Anywhere close to 50265 zip let's figure out a time. I have access to the perfect woods.
@@mattriley3550 damn I’m from the Midwest so thats a few states away from me
Wow! RUclips knows what I like. Would love to find a like minded soul to do something like this with. Fantastic guys 🙏🏻
Me too . Where are you based ?
@@davidbartholomew6856 north west England.
I would be so in
Bremerton WA. Let's go to the woods.
@@caelumroberts404 That’s quite a trek for me. I’m UK . 😏
Randomly found this video...I can't say how much I appreciate this performance. I'm truly inspired more than I have been in a good while to continue learning synth/guitar.
Blessings 🙂
thanks :) guitar and synth work really well together, it's all just vibrations! We plan on incorporating some nylon string guitar into our next session
@@droneinthewoods YES!! Been learning classical as well, that will be a blast.
Imagine walking into the woods and found those guys jamming hahaha
В 90-х было дело то же импровизировали в лесу, на самопальных комбиках от аккумуляторов.
thank you youtube algorithm and thank ou drone in the woods ! lovely music
The is the professional music industry to me
Hah, I wish! This is what it should be though :)
anyone living in Spain who wants to do this with me ?̊̈ :p
if anyone reading this is in dublin or ireland comment below and lets do this in the forest.
These look like three dudes who probably appreciate the Big Lez Show, and if not, then they haven't watched it yet!
Minecraft music be like:
I love the forgiving, progressive style of this music. Anything you three do is adding onto what the others do and it all evens out and sounds good no matter the slight intricate and unique directions you each take in the music! Just keeps going and getting better and better, I love that in music :)
Thank you for your lovely comment :) we couldn't be three more different guitarists and that certainly helps
I have watched 10 minutes and this is one of my favorite videos already
Neato... :) Can you tell me what keyboards/synths are used?
Roland Gaia, Roland MC101 and Behringer Crave :)
Medic call in the woods, so sick boys and good effort!!
Ambient is very difficult. That's my take.
It is beatless.
And just like that, all my cares are floating down the river. This is proper medicine. Many thanks! I've been making music alone again for too long, and this video just pushed me over the edge on finding friends to jam with again.
I'm blessed to know so many amazing musicians, I've learnt everything by jamming with others since I first picked up a guitar and joined a band when I was 15 :)

Nice work! How did you power it all?
Batteries and usb power banks :)
Would love to do this with anyone who wants to collab
I'm down .where you at ?
I'm down...
Love the video, super trippy Sid/Floyd type vibes. What did you guys use for a power source? Thanks stay groovy.
Usb power packs and batteries
Are you going through a PA of some sort. This is really cool. Lots of us would love to do this kind of thing.
We're each using a battery powered Roland amplifier, nice and light for carrying into the forest
Really lovely. Was everything battery powered?
Yes, AAs and usb power banks
@@droneinthewoods 👍
play this while playing minecraft
My students always say my music sounds like Minecraft! I've never played/heard it in my life
This would be so cool to do ,I m thinking a generator is noisy so how do you play this wonderful music outside with amps.????
All batteries and usb power banks :)
Oh, so super beautiful. What a discovery this evening!
Great piece of work guys! May i know how did you power all those equipments?
Batteries and usb power banks
In the enchanted forest, a video of a jam with ambient drones and synths comes to life. The melodies, like woodland whispers, dance amidst ancient trees, where the synths paint a mesmerizing canvas of forest sounds. Under the forest's emerald canopy, we are transported to a realm where our connection with the world around us deepens, like a chapter from a mystical fairy tale. A musical masterpiece woven with the essence of the woods, where magic and nature harmonize.
You got a new sub, very nice, would love to try something like this, keep it up guys 👏

These vids often have a 'timeless' feel. Wonder if DITW will be getting a Behringer JT4000? Only £45 !
I did look at it, but for me, a synth either needs a keyboard or straightforward MIDI implementation and this one appears to have neither unfortunately
This has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen, I can just imagine running into you guys whilst on a psychedelic hiking trip and melting into the surroundings. LOVE THIS
They finally came outside. The GREAT OUTDOORS! Yeah the great outdoors. Okay?
Totally life affirming and glorious. A great day in the woods.
love this what were you using to power everything
AA batteries and usb power banks
This really picked up after a nice slow start. Best thing I've heard from the woods yet.
ya'll were locked in
Por un momento me sentí fuera de mi casa, en el bosque y en tranquilidad. uwu saludos desde Chile
Thanks for sharing your music - I find it has been super helpful to reduce some anxiety feelings i have been having recently. Also, helping me with focus - if doing screen based work for long hours. Much appreciated.
Wow I think I found my place outstanding work !
This seems really fun - what do you use for a power source out there?
Batteries and usb power banks
Fripp and Eno meets Tangerine Dream
WOW!! thank you x
Группа "Шаманы Русского Устья"?
This was transcendent!
. . . oo, I do love a good drone, think my favourite has to be the E6 1,318.51HZ drone in Elliott Smiths Angeles, well, at least that's what it sounds like to me.
you guys must have the best trips 🐇🚴♂👁🌈
Anyone able to recommend similar artists/bands to this style? Upbeat guitar/synth/drum jams? Cheers!
Carbon Based Lifeforms vibes, love it so much!
Very Nice Session. It`s groovy...🙂
Very cool ! How are you drawing power ?
Batteries and USB power banks
The middle it’s (A) (F# min) (C# min7?) and (E) standard tuning.
Just wow! Totally immersed in this otherworldly, atmospheric, brain 🧠massaging trip to the place I didn’t know I needed to be today…..❤
Glad to have been of help :)
Good idea
But if you recorded from a distance
Like do the same thing but set the microphone away from the amp
And try and record the sound of nature first then then have the music in the background grow -or you could have someone with a microphone walk a perimeter around the band and have the breaking of twigs and rustling of leaves play with the music
You guys aee my kinda people...
Это- бездарный набор звуков..🤯.Сколько же этого мусора набралось в инете!🤕😟🥴

the music is really cool, but I rather see what are you doing in the instruments, intead of a blurry out of focus image. But the sound is awesome.
This is what I needed. Great work. Thanks!

In the forest of the Tube - Great soundz ! :) Thank you 😊
Nice sounds and setting, loved it. Cheers
Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!! I aspire to this - ambient forrest jams! 🌲🎸🎹🥰
I love this! How are you powering everything out in the woods? Thanks
Batteries! :)
Those must be some expensive ass batteries 😅
@@benwearne542 about a £5 a session I reckon. I just never buy any strings! 🤣
Instant subscribe. I've wanted to do something like this for a while. I was discouraged by the thought of how I would power equipment. Would love to know what y'all came up with for that.
Most of the equipment runs on batteries (the 3 amps and 2 of the synths) and the other synth is powered from a little usb power bank with ripcord
@@droneinthewoods I wanted to do this but I record guitar straight into a laptop with an interface. I bought one of those camping batteries with AC power but when I use that to power the laptop I get horrific noise and hum through the interface and it was unusable! Unfortunately the software I use (VCV) doesn't run very well without mains power. Might just get a better laptop at some point and try it running the interface powered off the laptop instead, that works fine. Would love to do some outdoor ambient guitar stuff.
Also you've done loads of these, wonder why this one has absolutely blown up? 77k views, congratulations!
@@VirtualModular easiest to just get a more heavy duty battery for your laptop? This video has been selected by 'the algorithm ' I guess. It also features Sam Bell who is a professional guitarist! :)
@@droneinthewoods ah, is he free to play on one of my pieces? I'm a rank amateur guitar player 😂
I might get a Macbook, even though I don't particularly like Apple kit their processors run VCV much better from what I've heard. Battery would last long enough to jam for a while. Cheers 👍
Gonna have to bust out my Crave, Wasp and MS-20!!! Has me wondering where in the Sam-Hell are you guys getting power from out in the woods?!?! 😂😂😂
Amps, synths and my pedals are on batteries, Pete's running his pedals from a battery inverter
@@droneinthewoods that is crazy cool!!! Surprised you didn’t get any noise, sounds great!!!
A battery inverter?? This sounds great! Also surprised that the sound is so good.
Супер, созвучно!!!!!!!!🎉
The same in the blairwitch forest PLEASE !❤
great stuff .. the Crave sounds great .. I think that is next for me :)
This is the hottest forest track ever!
What an excellent concept!! Well done Lads..I like!...A LOT!!!!😇
So peaceful
Although the production of such a music is not fitting into nature the tunes do.
Anyone in Bristol UK down to do something like this?
what a nice place to jam.......that always affects the music. In a very good way in that case :-)
How did you power your gear out there in the forest? Great idea ambient in the forest!
Batteries and usb power banks
@@droneinthewoods That must be a HUGE power bank you're using I imagine since amps take up massive amounts of energy from what I understand...
@@thomas0101 not at all, everything is very low powered, the amps are busking amps that take AA batteries
Beautiful! That crave sounds crispy.
I love it's sound so much I'm thinking of selling my SH101!!
I have one but never did anything close to what you've done. Subscribed... Y'all rock!@@droneinthewoods

this autoplayed after listening to my own demo, i guess i made drone music
so pretty!
Really nice. How are you recording all this?
Thanks 👍 this was my first multi track recording outdoors if I remember correctly. Using a zoom H6 and a Tascam Dr40
My favourite one so far. Beautifully atmospheric.
absolutely wonderful , excellent work
the whole shamnic conscept!
🌲 great trip 🌳
This is so cool. Where do you get your power? I went camping last weekend and nearly brought a Cioks 4 w/ usb power supply to try and get a small portable rig going.
Most of the synths I have take batteries internally and the ones that don't I just run off small usb power banks
What a great piece of music. Kudos Sirs. This is medicine.
Sounds like the background for a corporate demonstration video. Turn off the sequencer and you can break out of that inane 3 chord repetition.
4 chords actually
great track,, THanks..
What makes the percussion sounds?
Drums are coming from the Roland MC101
dude this is sick!!!! i hope you don’t mind my asking but how did u power all this tasty equipment out in the forest??
Batteries and usb powerbanks
Where did they get the energy from? I want to start this kind of projects too but i'd never know how to turn on electric devices in the middle of nowhere xd
Batteries and usb power banks
Sounds great but I think the animals just pooped their feathers and left the area. 🐦
Nah, there's no birds there in summer cos they're all in the deciduous trees next door where the insects, fruit and seeds are. I regularly have deer check me out and the squirrels get used to me pretty quickly :)
Just found this in my RUclips feed. What a gem. 🤗
fantastic guys!!
OMG this is so cool
duh question but what are you using for power?
