- Live jam with 5 Volcas and a bunch of effects! This was the first time we did a jam with the Analog Heat, so we used it (the high pass filter) a lot, haha. Let us know what you think!
The original recording contained a long warming-up period which wasn't that interesting, so we decided to cut that and skip to the good part. If you want to hear some clips of what was cut, follow us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter! Links at the bottom.

@Caiden Kenneth It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out !
This is unbelievable ... the breaks, drops, transitions... SEAMLESS. Been playing with volcas for about a year but WOW the technical prowess is amazing. Love the use of the step sequencer for the bassline and the drum fx with the volca drum. Great job guys!!
That bass rhythm at the start is sooo nice. I've got it on repeat at work!
Thanks so much man!! :)
Tangerine Dreamers 👍👍 This one goes into my "Musique Selective" folder.
I really like it. I find it impressive how you manage to do a real live performance and end up with a well structured and balanced set !!!
Ramuchal : Thank you!! As you can hear from our other videos, it’s not always this structured - but we’re also very happy with this jam! :)
Nice set. "saved" to playlist.
Hardware always better than software. AWESOME WORK
Basic Dos Gaming : Thank you!! :)
I wish I had another pair of hands to jam with, absolutely stunning work
Sounds good I'm glad they got volcas there perfect for beginners and pro's! I gotta get me the sample and bass then keys in some sort of order ha!
Everything you guys do is so unbelievable!
Este es un set magnífico... En verdad gracias por mostrarnos el bello arte de la música house con todo ese maravilloso equipo analógico
I listened to a lot of good music...but this mix here is truly hypnotizing 🤩
16:40 hits so hard!
Yall the synth hero the world needs!
Hey, I missed you guys! Great timing, too! Squirrels ate through the brake lines on my car and I just paid the repair bill. I really needed some chill-out music. Thank you SO much. :-)
Gene Pozniak : We missed you too, Gene! Thanks for listening man, really appreciate it. :)
Did you owe the squirrels money or something?!
@@lardosian lol
Yo what?
Best volca jam on youtube!
Alex Fuse : Thank you!! :)
Love jamming with volcas ❤❤❤💛💛💛💚💚💚✌✌✌✌
Heard it again today (in corona times) and it's still great stuff. Healthy regards from Berlin
really cool and warm sounds !
bass lines are very addictive with that atmosphere :)
Thanks for listening!! :)
This goes crazy hard
This is awesome! Can you please drop a tutorial or a close up of your hands so we can understand what knob does what effect? great stuff!!
Fantastic jam, thanks for sharing! Now, I have the same mixer as you and I believe the power supply has died. If you notice the recorder behaving erratically on power-on you might encounter the same issue at some point - I mention that in case you're thinking of using it live.
Anyway, while it was working, I was concerned about the mixer not properly mounting and dismounting the HDD I used for recording, so I had a look for a solid state alternative. After a bit of trial and error, I discovered that a Sandisk Extreme USB stick (Extreme CZ80) will do the trick at 24 bits no problem.
Matt Smith : Ahh cool, thanks for the tips!! :)
Reminds me of Ela Minus. Cool
As we say in Manchester top choon. Really took me there. Respect
Top-notch stuff right here! Amazing!

Very nice ...! Killah setup

Incredible
Wowowow !! This is sooooo great !!
I want the Analogue Heat now hahaha x)
I have several question , your setup mesmerize me EACH time
I have the same behringer mixer , and a zoom ms 70 cdr , how do you use it ? Like a send ? A return effect ? How do you do the trick ?
It’s the same question about the RNC 1773 : how do you do it with all the stuff ? I really dig to get one to get basic sidechain with all of my synths too , it’s an insert ? An aux ? I don’t get it hahaha
I could say the same for the Analog Heat too x)
You have connected it directly from the Main out ? If yes , how do you record it back ?
Sorry for all those questions , but YOU GUYS have helped me out to get my dawless setup , and works like a charm so far
I really want to get more and more dawless , but those kind of setup are at the same time a dream to have , but a nightmare to understand too x)
Thx in advance !
Eridon : Thanks for the kind words!! We don’t use the mixer FX send/return. Instead, every Volca is connected to a pedal first, which is then connected to the mixer. We use the MS-70CDR with the Volca Sample in this jam. If you want to know how we included the FMR RNC, check out this video: ruclips.net/video/5Hr5LKARioQ/видео.html . It boils down to the following: we use the mixer’s “ALT3-4” sub group to send the sound from the Volcas to the compressor. That signal then goes to the Analog Heat, and then the signal is returned to the mixer. This way we can record both the individual tracks, and the compressor + “Heated” sound. Let me know if you have more questions. :)
Nice stuff guys!
Just amazing!!
