thank you so much! im really sorry i saw your comment so late 🙈 in this it is mostly a prophet rev2 that does both basses and leads/polys, plus roland mc707. but to be honest, most subtractive synths will do just fine :) like minilogue xd or Behringer deepmind are great to start out with
This is my life setup, so i rather work with modern gear that i can replace easily if something goes bad. For studio work i like to use vintage aswell :)

2 questions, what are the drums on your tr8s (i have the tr6s and need them) and how did you do the sidechain/ducking effect? :D I LOVE IT!
thanks! i use my own samples on the tr8s, except the hats. the ducking is from the mx1, its a built in effect :)
You can get a cheap behringer rack compressor second hand for 30 eurodolllars to do the side chaining

1992 would've been the house scene. 1986 seems more accurate.
