    Andrew Marzotto is a Toronto based jazz guitarist and a rising star in the Canadian jazz scene. After graduating from the Berklee College Of Music on a full scholarship, he has been keeping a very active schedule teaching and performing jazz in the Toronto area,. He is also found at times accompanying high profile Canadian artists/vocalists.

    It is very well done but in my respectful opinion this comping is too much dense and in some ways it sounds more like a chord solo. The use of a high register could not be appropriate for a soloist or a singer. This is only my opinion but I do like the chord shapes used in the video.

      It seems like these videos go for a “kitchen sink” type of approach. Not really showing the best possible way to comp but playing really busy to show off as many different ways to play the changes as possible.
