    Nice! We've made some notebook covers using embroidered cork and vinyl. It works great! You do need to be careful of dense stitches cutting through, so a strong stabilizer is good.

    In regards to the bobbin tension text insert, why did you change the tension? Were you sure that the vinyl would require tighter/looser bobbin tension?
    Spent so much time with this machine figuring out tensions and getting the threading to come out with top thread showing a little on the back. Sometimes it feels like I can adjust everything and the next project, it will be all wrong. Just trying to gauge how you knew what to do, of course I'm assuming you've used the vinyl before so you had an idea.

      Great question, and something we should have covered more in this video. When we changed our bobbin to black thread for the remainder of the project we did a test piece on another hoop to make sure we had our settings correct. We will typically do this off screen when sewing new materials. Getting it right is just trial and error we found. Thank you for the comment!
