Great video Megan. I was able to use these steps on a golf towel that I started working on.

Megan nice work just make sure on your next desing to increase the density of the stitch so you don't end with open spots keep it up.

Thanks for watching! We cover how to add a hoop size template in this video: ruclips.net/video/fWcrVAdlKas/видео.html at 2:36. To transfer your design to a hard drive you’ll need to export your design as a .pes by going to File, Save as, have the drop down menu save as Ink/Stitch: Brother Embroider Format (.pes). Hope this helps!

Megan, great work! You're a real pro. I with I could change the default density in Ink/Stitch as I'm often tightening them up.

Megan, what fabric was your towel? (It looks like microfiber.) I used a microfiber towel and a tear away backer. I ended up with a ball of thread under the towel after I started stitching it out. The tension was fine for the project that I sewed just before the towel, so I'm wondering if the problem is related to the backer. Maybe I should have used a water soluble backer on the top as well? I need to learn more about the wide variety of backers. Thanks again.

I used a pretty thick waffle pattern microfiber golf ⛳️ towel and didn’t have any issue with using the tear away stabilizer. Here is a link to the towel if that helps with seeing the material we used: amzn.to/3zEHkKU and here is the stabilizer we used: amzn.to/3i4w4Rc. I think trying a wash away on top is a great idea and we have used it on thinner more delicate towels with success. Hope this can help you!

Hi - Love your channel! I was noticed that the density issue you had mentioned at the end is an issue I've been having difficulty with as well.. what is your resolution to avoid seeing the black through the design?

In params, you can adjust the density of your fill stitch by going to the “auto fill” tab and decreasing the number in “spacing between rows” Hope this helps!

I am a newbie to embroidery
I have a brother 1600e embroidery only machine. I have embroidered bath towels before. I am doing my first golf towel. Should I use a special needle or anything else when complete this job? I will use tear away stabilizer. Any tips or tricks are very helpful? Did the material present any challenges? Thank you

Thanks for watching! We didn’t find any challenges embroidering the towel and there wasn’t anything special we did to embroider ours. We used a 75/11 needle.

Hey peeps! I made a design in Inkscape/Inkstitch and saved it as an embroidery file but now I need to add an outline around the design. Is it possible to switch the embroidery file back to svg?

Hello there! Unfortunately, you can’t convert your PES (or other embroidery format) and turn it back into an SVG. We always suggest you always save your files in the zip format with SVG and your embroidery format, in case you need to make adjustments.
