Nice video showing everything you need. For people looking to put on a slip on you can simply leave the servo plugged in and remove the servo cables/ stock muffler and it will have the same effect with no engine light. Did this on my 24 zx6r.
Interesting, that's an actual servo and they moved it. On my 2011 Ninja 1000 it's a stepper motor next to the battery. Now that I think about it, Stepper motors are really durable so I don't really need this besides weight reduction. I was just curious what it looks like. I'm running Yoshimura Exhaust with the Titanium and Carbon Fiber, She sounds sweet.
I just did this exactly to the tee and I still have the check engine light on. Does it take a couple of miles to reset? I did ride around for about 50 miles without the servo motor or a servo buddy (so obviously the check engine light was on), but I figured it would turn off once I installed it.

Does the servo buddy get rid of that engine light? Cuz that's what I got before I installed it and started up my engine 🤣
Are u based in California? I tried to order an exhaust and they told me ,can ship to California

If you rode around without anything you might have to get the codes cleared off the computer
Pretty sure you’ve got a cat in your header. So it’s not straight piped at all.
How is it going 3mo later any problems? Have a zx6r I was thinking about doing it to
no issues. everything is good
Bro, can we still use the stock exhaust ? After installing servo buddy and removing the stock servo ??
Yea I’m sure you could you would just have to make sure the value is locked open
What was the orange light that was on when you first started it up after the install?
That was the ABS light. Doesn't turn off till you start going
It's an ABS light. I have the KRT ABS edition it comes on till you start moving.
