@@Ese_Huesotes top speed is still the same/ish. On a good day with a tail wind and a long LONG road you might get 170 maybe. With all the mods it get there quicker but it's my commute / city bike if I wanna go fast fast I take out the real bike.

@@XaviorHults by "real" I mean real fast. If the question is top speed a 600 is useless. For a beginner it's plenty fast all round. I've owned every single generation of 636 and for city riding it's a solutely amazing. On the highway or long rides a 600 is pretty loud and uncomfortable and all your litre bike buddies will be in a different time zone before you hit 100mph.
I've been noticing corporations are caring less and less for what we think we spent our money on. They don't care anymore to them we get what we get and should pay more and be happy lol

If anything, these motorcycle companies go out of their way to ensure that their bikes aren't limited by factory restrictions and can reach beyond what would normally be 'legal'.

Love the new refreshed 2024 636, '19-'23 model looked just terrible with Ninja 400 face. I'm usually not for black bikes but this one looks great. I would definitely go for a new ZX-6R if I was in the market for a new middleweight sportbike.

What I like about new ZX-6 is that its headlights shape resemble those on 2003-4 model which was the best looking ZX-6R ever to me. It really looked like a Ninja with mean face, super sharp styling and great looking silver frame and swing arm. Loved that bike The new one is very nice, doesn't look like a robot like most of new sportbikes and unrestricted 120hp at wheel is great power for a 600 bike.

I have the same bike with just a Yoshimura slip on exhaust. By chance do you have a tuning for that setup? I can definitely feel the lack of power right now. The power in the low to mid rpm range is terrible. Thanks!

Power figures and tech aside, how does the new ZX6R compare to the GSXR750 on the street? I love the GSXR750 but it's hard to ignore the ZX6R since Kawi has actually been investing in and developing the bike

This bike isn’t fly by wire though so what is stopping the throttle restriction? I get the ecu but I would think without electric butterflies there’s nothing to restrict
Question yall. I am debating between the ZX-6r (2024) and the ZX-10r (2024). I don’t understand why people say the 600cc is easier to ride? Aren’t they almost the same weight? Also want to know how much I will lose going with the 6r? It is just my weekend toy plus some occasional track days.
If you are asking why a 1000 is harder to ride than a 600 you should get the 600 before you answer your own question the hard way. Plus the 600 is way more suited to your use cases. If you are tracking the bike get a used bike. Your insurance wont cover what happens on the track, and you may be taping off or completely switching out those pretty new fairings just to ride the track. As far as what you are losing... you wont beat the 1000s off the line but you can keep up with all but the most experienced (and dangerous) group rides. You will get passed by a 1000 going 180 while you are topped out at 160. If that bothers you and its something you plan on encountering often i can read your fortune with 90% accuracy... You will end up dead or in jail (losing your license and in some cases facing a felony). The cost for the ticket alone can be more than you would pay for a used 600 for the track. All this being said it is your decision and no one is going to look down on you if you pull up riding either. Welcome to the life and it would be cool to know what you end up with. Stay safe.

I hit 190mph constantly but where I go is almost abandoned. I go out at 1am and back at 3:30am so yeah no one in the street. I tested the 600 as well and it felt very slow for me. Even the 10R made me kind of bored!!! I am an adrenaline addict unfortunately. And by the way I got a ticket but it was not bad at all. It was just 1k for what I did I was expecting 10-20k 😂. Happy riding bud

Not entirely. The 1000 will be thousands of dollars more expensive. Not only that, but the insurance will be significantly more on a 1000 as well. In the end, if your wallet is thick enough, you really really need to want that extra speed - because it is gonna cost you ! 🙂
Well because just power isn't the only difference. The weight and location of the weight can make a huge difference in the feel of the bike, especially if you start getting rid of heavy stock components.
@@KingJerbear an s1000rr is the same weight as a zx6r, and the factory titanium exhaust can take off 8 lbs, so weight is a difference but not if you buy the right bike.
@@KingJerbear but in fairness an s1000rr with a titanium exhaust is more expensive than a zx6r with a flash and full system. that said, a brand new zx6r with a full system and a flash and air filter will likely get closer to $20,000 than you might like to think, assuming you dont cheap out on parts lol

What is shocking are the wheels on that truck. 1950 wants them back! I can understand that truck wheels do not need to look like a sportscars wheels unless you want them to, but to have such a terrible old mans design on them is strange. Nice work with the bike tune and looking forward to the project bike development.
