Hey I live around where you filled up your tank lol. I've seen you around town and your bike sounds sick man. I'm gonna get my first bike here in around a month or so. I'm thinking about an r7 but I kinda want a zx6r too. What is your opinion on starting on a 600?
Just get the zx6r. You can keep it in low power mode until you are comfortable with it. The power difference between those two bikes is pretty significant, and you can’t beat the sound of a inline 4. The R7 is a parallel twin and will sound like a sewing machine.
Really depends on how mature you are. If you think youll be able to resist ripping the balls out of the ZXR6 on your second day of riding, I wouldn't recommend it. Always better to start on a less powerfull bike, get a good grip on the basics and then move onto bigger/faster bikes. I do get that it will be more expensive and more annoying going through more bikes, but it will keep you alive for longer. I assume you do want to come back home from your rides haha
I literally have the exact same bike as you man. Same slip-on, M4? Even the throttle lock lol. I've been trying to learn how to wheelie, and it's nice seeing you do it on the same bike. Can't seem to get it up too high yet, unfortunately.
Wow. You did those wheelies without a steering dampener installed !! Brave, dude - very brave. I have seen the death wobble happen on these bikes from doing much less than an actual wheelie. Enjoy that fun toy.
