does this bike come stock with a slipper clutch? I have a ‘17 R6, really been looking at the ‘24 ZX6R. How does revmatching feel on this?
Yes it comes stock with slipper clutch and rev matching feels nice. But truthfully, you should just keep that R6 my dude.

Is the Zx6r a second bike, did you start on an R7 and/or can you start on an R7. I am new to riding 6ft 290 and 37. I am choosing between 2023/2024 R7 or Ninja 400. My goal or dream bike is the Black and Grey 2024 Zx6r. But I don't think its a first bike. Idk
Ive also heard from someone if the check engine light is on it restricts the power.

I just picked up the same bike. servo buddy will most likely fix your check engine issue. Ride safe
I didn’t purchase a servo buddy because the people that flashed the ECU were supposed to remove it. Gonna be sending it back out to them this weekend to clear it because It won’t allow me to on the 2 OBD2 scanners and adapters I have. Ride safe yourself friend
Do you have your rpm set low ? Is that why it’s flashing orange?
Mine does that as well but cuz I have mine set low due to break in.
Yeah man, It was set at 4k RPM from factory, I just never changed it before filming this video lol, got it all good now👌

@@wkrb0nk109 yeah even after a tune:( it’s fast af down low but the top end is really where it is slacking in my opinion. My buddies 2023 zx6r that is stock is able to hit 165 on speedo, mine won’t budge past 152. Highest it’s able to go is 141GPS speed. And that dosent sound right to me for a 600cc SS but the people that tuned it are saying that’s expected so idk 🤷🏻♂️

They did not flash it properly. With proper flashing (if they disabled clean-air and all other stuff) no code should appear when you put block-off plates.

Trying to figure that out myself he seems to use the clutch a lot in this lol
There’s a quick shifter, the indicator for it is right below the power modes on the dash. The QS is for racing/high RPMs though to my knowledge, it is very luggy when you use it in low RPMs. I’m not used to having one so it was hard to remember to use it haha. Have definitely been utilizing it more recently though

ECU flash was supposed to remove these codes that’s why I never bought servo buddy. Gonna be getting the codes cleared either today or tomorrow👌

The check engine light goes away when you turn on the bike.
I used to love m4 but everyone and their mom has one now, so I had to go with SC. Hurt the wallet bit more lol.
Smart choice
If you have codes from doing the mods to your bike, when you flashed the ECU, that flash/tune should have taken care of the codes that the bike are throwing.
Yeah I spoke to the tuner and he had no idea why those are there and is saying they removed them. if needed I can send ECU back, I just don’t wanna be without my bike for another week Lmao

What I would do overnight it to him so it leaves out tonight. He’ll get it first thing tomorrow morning he can fix it and then he can overnight it back so you’ll have it back in three days tops.
But yeah, I understand I was involved in a motorcycle accident in December of last year. My bike is still at the dealership hopefully hopefully will be done this coming Friday, so I completely understand stand about being without a bike.
@@TSORides did you do the sequence of turning the bike back on after the flash correctly? Moore Mafia tuned mine and they said it would throw a code if not properly done

There's a sound at baaaarely-on throttle. What a cool noise! Not like regular engine braking sound, but like it's momentarily flickering between 0 and 1 on RBW at like 10 or 15 times a sec. I only hear it at hairline-cracked throttle. Mid corner

Chillin fam, not everything needs to be fast💀 also like to keep the engine noise down if I can on these roads, the officer that pulled us over the week prior confirmed he only knew we were speeding due to hearing our exhausts a mile down the road. He just posted up and waited to pull us over

If you need ear plugs pipe to.loud. hmmm that may be clue you are really annoying folks.
for any biker it’s recommended to wear earplugs even if your bike isn’t loud you still need them for loud traffic and other loud cars that can effect your hearing over time
@@giovannichavez7221 i have ridden for decades always full face helmet with shield, at 80mph it is quiter than tv in living room. I want wind noise low so i can hear sirens full face does that, stock exhaust and road and outside noises are pretty low. In open face or half helmets like harleys rider wear ear plugs a must as wind noise blanks out most other sounds you need to hear sirens horns etc. I have hearing test done yearly by local university doctor for my job which i have to wear ear plugs and have had for almost 20 yrs. Between work and riding no ear plugs my hearing has not changed by anymore than normal folks aging
I have good hearing. I need ear plugs at work or did new job last yr no but i wore them for almost 20 yrs due to noise at work. But riding for over 4 decades no loss acvording to doctor for my age hearing is above the average person my age due to age.
