Honestly turn for turn, Monaco looks way tighter than this track. They could be about the same though given bikes are smaller but the chicanes in Monaco are definitely way tighter and slower.

My palms were sweaty enough just watching the race as is (I’ve never seen bike racing like this on a walled circuit like this, it looks absolutely psychotic), I think worrying about that dude getting rocked by the people behind him would’ve done me in. Yeah, those tortoises are very dangerous, but you also have to be aware or squids that squirt ink in your face. If that happens just before a corner, there is a motorcycle shaped hole in the fence...
Games are looking so good these days,it sometimes takes a few moments to work out if a video is real or not. The start of this video almost looks so insane that I thought it was game footage! Another awesome video from Murtanio!
My school was very close to the track and we can hear the sound while we are in class, and people went outside the school during lunch and watch it at the hillside
@@pachma405it is real, its just been edited in post production to add motion blur, clean out the sound, and make the VOD pop a bit more. If you can't tell the difference between real and fake in this obvious a video, i have no hope for you when animated graphics actually get decent.

This shit is nuts. Street racing is one thing, but at least they have gaps and are mostly racing against he clock like in rally. A whole pack elbow to elbow this close to steel barriers? Huge respect to these guys.
I remember watching this the first time it was posted, and was totally convinced that it was actually video game footage instead of a real life race, the colors are just so vibrant and so clear. The perspective is great, as a rider, and sitting on my couch, I found myself leaning into the curves as I watched. 😳

Macau is one of my favorite race tracks for any motor sport. It looks amazing on a bike though, the sun and trees, tall building, rustic walls and close barriers. Chefs kiss.

This is so amazing I wasn't sure if it was real or a video game, but the way the sun hits the windscreen at 2:30 and highlights all the scratches, no way they programmed that level of detail in a video game. Just amazing, and I've ridden bikes for 30 years.

For anyone wondering why it looks like a video game they used ND filters to allow them to lower/control the shutter speed. This gives the picture more motion blur.
they actually used something like reelsmart motion blur to add synthetic motion blur. It explains a lot of the strange artifacts especially around the edges of the visor. still very cool effect/look.

Wow! this is how all races should be filmed from now on. so incredible to watch, I seen somebody else comment how they were trying to work out if this was a game or real life, same boat here because for the most part video games just look so clean and realistic now leaving conventional recording methods behind but this is definitely the best onboard I've ever seen and when the rider wiped out I was clenching my teeth!
As tight as this track is i never thought about it being a video game which it is not & i may not know games when that guy clips the wall and goes down well i don't think that's anything you could fake & i am glad he wasn't killed as his injuries come with the territory of Superbike racing. I raced Laydown Karts for 15 years at Summit Point Raceway & many of the tracks here in the States & i thought we were nuts but i had a friend that ran Superbikes there & he & those guys thought we were nuts. I love Road Racing especially F1 , Indy Car , all the sportscar races , Superbikes & the Sidecars , you can't beat it as racing doesn't get any better here & in Europe.
Who the frick wants to play a video game - as a rider of 44 yrs - my father's words (he a rider of many years) still ring in my ears! "Riding a motorcycle lad, is the closest thing to flying; on the ground" he was as usual completely correct.... once a person gets that! bug, hooked for life..... He had a 33rpm record of the sounds! of the early motorcycles, entered into the isle of man TT races; and could name each one.... I miss him😔 .. he tried to get onto the back with me my on my Harley, wearing a flat cap turned backwards; as he did on a vincent 1000cc black shadow as a much younger man... a legend. Ride on boys..
I always compared riding to open cockpit biplanes. I even got a white silk scarf for the neck chafing cause I’m constantly looking for bandits as in stupid car drivers. 🤣.
when you racing.i didn't looked into objects.theres a tunnel vision when you are on super speed mode.yet aware by air instincts and tip of your clutch..respect for everyone on this track!
lol - I love how you drive into the sun and Poof! everyone in front is gone. :) Awesome video. really encapsulates the intensity endured during a race by a rider. The things you have to intuit vs think about. it's 90% intuition and muscle memory.
Raced around here a million times on the sim but never thought of motorbikes. Seems like a decent layout for it and an absolute beautiful hooning through the city vibe but it looks terrifying.
POV is pretty accurate to what riding is actually like, but in real life when you know how counter steering works there is no anxiety, leaning the bike over is just fun and you get unusually comfortable doing that while the wheels are skipping about on a non perfect road at 120kph. That why riders die, you feel unusually safe because so much of the bike is in your control.
So this is not from a video game right ? I am sorry but this days it's getting difficult (just for me ?) to make the difference between VG and reality !
At a certain point, it just feels like you're stuck in a specific order and that only hoping someone else messes up will allow you to overtake any other position.
This doesn’t give me anxiety…..it gives me FOMO. Maybe it’s just me, but as someone who has ridden 120+ mph this looks like absolute joy. Not a track rider but would love to be able to experience this.

Relatively the bike is way thinner to thread the needle.. but its your head thats next to a wall going these speeds .. thats pretty tight

It took me about two minutes to realise this is a real race not a racing video game, quality is stunning.

As someone used to speeds, this doesn't give me anxiety, it's just relentless focus that make me tired. In real world, add physical fatigue.

In my opinion bike game graphics are not yet quite as convincing as this footage.

Back in the day, I remember GP rider Kevin Schwantz riding his Suzuki GP machine, the RGVΓ500, at crazy speeds on this crazy track.
