  • In this video of the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R I show how to:
    Remove the OEM exhaust and converter
    Install the new M4 Street Slayer Exhaust slip on
    Remove the servo motor from under second seat
    Remove the servo cables
    Install Servo Buddy
    Remove the passenger pegs
    I ordered the M4 Exhaust from Ebay from a reputable seller of M4 and the Servo Buddy from AMAZON.

    This is the best video of this exhaust installation on RUclips right now. I watched several videos on this before ordering an M4 GP19 exhaust, and saw this video when refreshing on the install instructions. These instructions are thorough and I like that you kept in the part with the stuck bolts. Excellent work here!

    This was a great tutorial video on actually changing parts on an actual bike I was beginning to think I was in my own world where everyone I see anymore doesn't really seem to use their bikes and definitely don't work on their own. So that was awesome to see. I don't want to be that guy trying to correct but just letting you and anyone else that sees this the loctite you used is for plumbing threads in order to keep moisture out when working liquid or air. Thread locker would probably work better for vibration. Again I'm not trying to start anything just informing. I've subbed I enjoyed the video!

    What does the servo motor even do ? Are there any drawbacks to removing it ?

    • @Bennyrogue
      @Bennyrogue  4 месяца назад +1

      In a nutshell, the servo moto opens and closes a butterfly valve in the exhaust to control noise at lower rpms and very high rpms. The bike manufacturers will say it's to create back pressure at lower rpms to create more torque at lower speeds but I guess from what I've read that's BS. It's all about keeping the bike more quiet.

    What is the point of tuning the bike after an exaust and is it necessary ??

    • @Bennyrogue
      @Bennyrogue  Год назад

      When you change the exhaust you change the flow rate wich can cause your bike to run lean. I only added a slip on not an entire exhaust swap. If you were to swap the entire exhaust then it is recommended to get a tune up to make sure the air/fuel mix is correct to exhaust flow. I'm still debating getting a power commander and tuning mine myself.

    not sure why you would buy a servo buddy, just leave the oem one there after you pull the cables off and save yourself some money...🤷 just my opinion...

      It looks a lot cleaner. And it gives me some storage space under that back seat. 👌

      So I don’t need the servo buddy just leave the stock thing in there?

    what is the servo buddy for?

    • @Bennyrogue
      @Bennyrogue  Год назад +1

      After you remove the ehaust and servo cables The servo buddy is what tricks the bikes computer so it doesn't throw a code. Just make sure the servobuddy goes in BEFORE you start the bike up.

    Can't believe M4 made such an ugly looking exhaust 😢

      That was my first thought 😔. Most of the options for exhausts were hideous.
