This was a great tutorial video on actually changing parts on an actual bike I was beginning to think I was in my own world where everyone I see anymore doesn't really seem to use their bikes and definitely don't work on their own. So that was awesome to see. I don't want to be that guy trying to correct but just letting you and anyone else that sees this the loctite you used is for plumbing threads in order to keep moisture out when working liquid or air. In a nutshell, the servo moto opens and closes a butterfly valve in the exhaust to control noise at lower rpms and very high rpms. The bike manufacturers will say it's to create back pressure at lower rpms to create more torque at lower speeds but I guess from what I've read that's BS. It's all about keeping the bike more quiet.
I’m about to get the same bike 19 zx6r in the same color but it has a TOCE exhaust and I hate the way it looks so I will be getting the street slayer for it for sure.
@chrisroman5586 from what I understand, there are a lot of companies calling the pre muffler the cat but everything I've read says that pretty much all cats are located in line in the header pipe just before the pipe splits into 4 sections.
@@Bennyrogue awesome thank you so much for replying fast, also I saw a comment where you said the bike was acting weird after install? Still happening?
yes, but the strange thing is that the abs sensor can be seen on the wheels, but when you turn the key the abs warning light does not come on, it is strange
@Fernando Nando I'll have to look into it cause I have no clue lol. There was a previous owner that dumped it then traded it in. That's why my plastics are broke in places. Maybe something happened to the brakes idk.

Correct! Some motor heads might argue but you do not. You may be able to improve your bike a little with a flash job but it's not needed. If you take off the entire pipe it is recommended.

When you change the exhaust you change the flow rate wich can cause your bike to run lean. I only added a slip on not an entire exhaust swap. If you were to swap the entire exhaust then it is recommended to get a tune up to make sure the air/fuel mix is correct to exhaust flow. Is the servo mandatory or does it just matter if you care about looking at the check engine light
From what I gather, it only matters if you don't like the check engine light.
