It would be awesome to play this on Xbox & use the co-pilot feature with another speed runner , one picks Billy & the other Rebecca. You can only play as you’re character & also whoever is billy and or Rebecca can use the right thumb stick feature in the game. (At least be able to Move around do puzzles faster and set up shots in attack mode.) I actually would love to see this lol.
I love how in the beginning of the game it says "The door to safety is now shut," and literally 2-3 minutes later a dude busts through the window warning Rebecca there's monsters outside.

I might actually beat this game for the first time ever, all thanks to this video. Without it I'd never be able to beat this game. @@TheSoulHarvester Billy is not gonna get anything from killing Rebecca at the start of the story so it was more like a relationship to benefit each other (he also saves her from Mimicry Marcus of if he wanted to murder her why saving her from the BOW) besides he acts like a pretty nice guy during the whole game.
You were wondering why all the candles were lit in the game? The zombies lit them silly! They were setting up for the big party but you arrived early, all each of them wanted was a nice hug, every zombie approached you with open arms, and you murder them :’(
Its actually .. really sad that Billy Coen was such a great Character and never to be seen again in the whole Franchise.. damn i just shed a tear with the ending of this game. Thank You Carci for not skipping all those great Cutscenes.

So Rebecca doesn't feel the need to ever mention to Chris that just 24 hours earlier she beat a Tyrant twice like she didn't think that her experience of fighting Tyrants would be of any use to Chris while he's on a helipad trying to fight a Tyrant
To be fair, she presumably hadn't eaten or slept in all that time. And after going through these trials, it's fairly likely her combat potential took a hit. Which would explain why a single Hunter can kill her if Chris doesn't save her.

It's far from that bad. And seeing that it's not about blowing things up left and right, it's very much about managing your resources and items. Loss of that is what killed the series.

beated hard once again today im doing better & better every run on hard! This time i had : - 5 aid sprays - 1 Mixed herb (G/R/B) - full set of the grenade launcher (every ammo u can find) - full set of the magnum (every ammo u can find) - Handgun with 120+ bullets - had a shotgun with 14 bullets but had to leave it behind. did the final bosses in one go because billy was the gunner and rebbica was the running healer. my only problem still is what to take and what to leave behind! And funny thing is i learned that molotovs are ammo savers, after years of playing lol
Man, I went "awwww" when I heard that line, it was so effing sad. If I had laughed, it would've been to cope from the casual tragedy of it. He was one of her compatriots, her peers, and she chose her loyalty to her recent buddy Billy over him. SO SAAAAD, either path would've been tragic!

@@elliotgreen2279 i think they're both pretty good but 2 is better. i might like the raid mode in 1 a little more because it's a bit too easy in 2. you just get health restoration parts in all of your weaons and you're practically invincible. i got all the medals in every stage in 2, but 1 was a bit too tedius grinding for certain parts and i gave up on it.

I will say this , I give you an extreme amount of Props for playing this game who knows how many times to get it all down to a system and select style of play to be able to do what you do and speed run it with no damage and to be able to remember what cutscenes you can skip or what scenes will play and how to activate them and where items are located and which you’ll need and where so with that said , how many times do you typically play a game to speed run it how you do ? i'm actually surprised he used the sub machine gun, seems like cheating to me. alt controls kinda too. i'm not sure what he's talking about when he says the tank controls in 0 are clunky, the feel perfect to me. remakes tank controls are probably the easiest to use, but in 0 they are as good as any other re game to me. i just can't bring myself to use alt controls in either game, or any ng+ bonuses aside from outfits in any re game, reduces the difficulty too much for it to be fun.
Wow you kill way more zombies at least at the start of this than I was expecting coming straight out of RE1. Maybe that was my mistake when I tried RE:0, I was trying to conserve ammo for later.
I remember playing this on GC when it first released. Being young and not knowing, this was an amazing game. Clunky af years later and I almost smashed my controller. Lol.
I've seen this before, but I forgot to comment: Absolutely Awesome! I had this on Gamecube way back and got an S rank on Hard a couple of times, as well; but I could never get a no damage run, really (I got hit a few times, and I don't think I'd ever be able to get through the game unscathed). That's what makes your videos so great! I'd love for you to try the Fatal Frame Series' Nightmare Modes. I'd played the first four, not the fifth one. The controls are really clunky, but you might enjoy them. If you can play them, I'd love to watch your playthroughs, damage or no damage! TC, Carci!

It's great stuff and I'm glad he played it so I don't have to. He got farther in 20 minutes than I did in six hours at which point I promptly uninstalled it. Loved the graphics but I found the gameplay torturous. I definitely appreciate Carci's tenacity.
This is my favorite RE game. I don't care what anyone says. Rebecca is bae, and the dynamic between her and Cpt. Tribal Sleeve is just an interesting set-up.
Her character is not a bad one.. But I was always fascinated by Ada Wong's character more than any other character. RE0 was still a decent game though in my opinion. Not the best RE but a decent one. Heck of a lot better than some of the handheld RE games.
Hi Carci, I was a fan of the original games as a youngster but never got good enough to complete them. Always had a fondness though and just rediscovered the series. Started with this one and found this guide amazing. I didn’t along exactly as I wasn’t aiming for a no damage, but your hints are great for any player and it made me really enjoy completing the game. I would have enjoyed the game regardless, but honestly I doubt I would have completed it without you! Keep up the great work and wish me luck for Resident Evil Remake! (I’m sure I’ll need your videos on that too!!)
1:11:03 there's actually another I found yesterday. You can push the plague Crawlers while they are eating, it take a little time but you can push them all the way to the opposite wall making your escape of the room totally safe and consistent (or at least, I never been grabed in my case)
I actually enjoyed this game more because the answers to some of the puzzles aren't handed to you on a silver plate. The only mode I played was hard mode and liked the struggle of conserving ammo and certain enemies stun locking you to death. I actually took out the final boss with a knife because I ran out of ammo and didn't want to restart the entire game
this was my entry to resident evil. First time I played this was on hard i didn't think much of it until i found out about tank controls and unique camera angles. This game was a pain to finish completed it in 6hr 10mins. my god that boss fight with the leeches
1:00:25 "I'm not sure how you are suppose to read those numbers." I looked closely. The voltage on top goes up to 100. Each voltage meter by a switch goes up to 50. You can see if the dial is 2/5ths of the way the value is 20. Pressing up will add 20 and down will subtract 20.

i got a few questions: 1) 1:13:47 How do you turn around and run away without getting swiped? I always get hit as soon as the cutscene ends 2) 1:30:53 how do you stun the bat like that to hit it 4 times in a row without having it fly away? 3) 2:09:32 the lurker always catches me? these things that you do cannot be easily replicated
I just finished the game in hard mode and I'm at the beginning of the video. I can't wait to see how you will avoid taking damage from the bat. Edit: oh okay you're keeping the sub-machinegun. Edit 2: oh OK not even needed.
The first RE I could bring myself to beat as a teen (I'm still too easily spooked lmao), and probably my favorite for it. Good on ya for a no damage run! Gonna spend my night watching this now. Loan Shark Joe I only use controller for classic RE. I use alt controls, so it isn’t a big deal.

i'm actually surprised he used the sub machine gun, seems like cheating to me. alt controls kinda too. i'm not sure what he's talking about when he says the tank controls in 0 are clunky, the feel perfect to me. remakes tank controls are probably the easiest to use, but in 0 they are as good as any other re game to me. i just can't bring myself to use alt controls in either game, or any ng+ bonuses aside from outfits in any re game, reduces the difficulty too much for it to be fun.

Wow you kill way more zombies at least at the start of this than I was expecting coming straight out of RE1. Maybe that was my mistake when I tried RE:0, I was trying to conserve ammo for later.

I remember playing this on GC when it first released. Being young and not knowing, this was an amazing game. Clunky af years later and I almost smashed my controller. Lol.
I've seen this before, but I forgot to comment: Absolutely Awesome! I had this on Gamecube way back and got an S rank on Hard a couple of times, as well; but I could never get a no damage run, really (I got hit a few times, and I don't think I'd ever be able to get through the game unscathed). That's what makes your videos so great!
I'd love for you to try the Fatal Frame Series' Nightmare Modes. I'd played the first four, not the fifth one. The controls are really clunky, but you might enjoy them. If you can play them, I'd love to watch your playthroughs, damage or no damage!

haha nice dude, you killed it. A true RE master. Watching this video gave me flashbacks of the damn inventory system, what a nightmare. However, it's part of the game.
it's what makes it more replayable than most re games for me.
I swear people complain too much about it. But it has it's charm and actually helped out other RE games with knowing where the items were.
This guide has been a blessing for trying to clear hard mode. Esp for the early game, using knife for first boss saves so much ammo honestly

You re good. You are the best guy to play it like it's a movie, since you know all about these games. You know all the cut scenes and all the proper interactions to present it like it's a movie without wasting time. You should try and make such videos. It would be a nice experience for the viewers

It's great stuff and I'm glad he played it so I don't have to. He got farther in 20 minutes than I did in six hours at which point I promptly uninstalled it. Loved the graphics but I found the gameplay torturous. I definitely appreciate Carci's tenacity.

This is my favorite RE game. I don't care what anyone says. Rebecca is bae, and the dynamic between her and Cpt. Tribal Sleeve is just an interesting set-up.

Her character is not a bad one.. But I was always fascinated by Ada Wong's character more than any other character. RE0 was still a decent game though in my opinion. Not the best RE but a decent one. Heck of a lot better than some of the handheld RE games.

Hi Carci, I was a fan of the original games as a youngster but never got good enough to complete them. Always had a fondness though and just rediscovered the series.
Started with this one and found this guide amazing. I didn’t along exactly as I wasn’t aiming for a no damage, but your hints are great for any player and it made me really enjoy completing the game. I would have enjoyed the game regardless, but honestly I doubt I would have completed it without you!
Keep up the great work and wish me luck for Resident Evil Remake! (I’m sure I’ll need your videos on that too!!)

1:11:03 there's actually another I found yesterday. You can push the plague Crawlers while they are eating, it take a little time but you can push them all the way to the opposite wall making your escape of the room totally safe and consistent (or at least, I never been grabed in my case)

This game looks stunning in HD remaster and 120fps. Great run. One of the toughest and more complex games to complete in the series.
Complex and tedious are completely different things.
I actually enjoyed this game more because the answers to some of the puzzles aren't handed to you on a silver plate. The only mode I played was hard mode and liked the struggle of conserving ammo and certain enemies stun locking you to death. I actually took out the final boss with a knife because I ran out of ammo and didn't want to restart the entire game

this was my entry to resident evil. First time I played this was on hard i didn't think much of it until i found out about tank controls and unique camera angles. This game was a pain to finish completed it in 6hr 10mins. my god that boss fight with the leeches

1:00:25 "I'm not sure how you are suppose to read those numbers." I looked closely. The voltage on top goes up to 100. Each voltage meter by a switch goes up to 50. You can see if the dial is 2/5ths of the way the value is 20. Pressing up will add 20 and down will subtract 20.

the whole gameplay is very interesting trying to manage 2 characters at the same time at least compared to other resident evil games
i got a few questions:
1) 1:13:47 How do you turn around and run away without getting swiped? I always get hit as soon as the cutscene ends
2) 1:30:53 how do you stun the bat like that to hit it 4 times in a row without having it fly away?
3) 2:09:32 the lurker always catches me?
these things that you do cannot be easily replicated
this game is inconsistent. i don't have any other answer for you. but i seriously have no idea how anyone gets caught by the lurker
