soak fish in salt water 2-3hrs. use the same ingredients she did. honestly though maggi and oil and white pepper/hot pepper/njangsa is perfect. Use an oven or wrap in foil and grill. this stove top thing is just too much work and standing. plus the spices are just on the skin. nice going though. (a child from Bonaberi)

The boney stuff you're cutting from the sides of the fish is called "lateral line" and what you called green onion is called "charlotte". Hmmmm, I love roasted fish 🐟🐟🐟🐟

Hey precious! I tried this recipe without the djansang and african nutmeg since there is no African store near me here in Jersey. But when I blended the ginger-green onion-red onion-garlic the blended sauce tasted sooo bitter! Why do you think it happened? Is it too much ginger? Or the lack of african ingredient in the sauce? I was so discouraged I did not even proceed to bake my maquarel fish 🙁
