  • Burt Reynolds was unquestionably one of the biggest stars of his day. There was a time back in the 70s when it was almost impossible to avoid him. He toiled away as a working actor for many years, landing supportive roles on TV shows like Gunsmoke in the early 1960s before getting his own series, Hawk in 1966 followed by Dan August in 1970.

In 1972, his movie career erupted after Deliverance hit theaters. And after posing nude for Cosmopolitan, his public image was also given another boost. After that, it was one film after another, and one star-studded romance after another as well. He also frequently guest-hosted The Tonight Show whenever Johnny Carson was out of town.
He eventually turned into a stereotype of sorts. He was this well-spoken southern boy with a love for flashy cars and beautiful women. That's what people thought of whenever you mentioned his name, and he certainly didn't hate that reputation. If anything, it was pretty spot-on.
In this video, we're going to show you how Burt Reynolds went from being one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood to losing it all and almost being destitute. We're also going to dissect Reynolds's love life and identify what he said was his biggest regret.

I met Burt Reynolds once back stage at one of his one man shows. in Asheville, NC. He was very kind to my family taking photos , giving autographs, and talking with his for a while. He and Loni also moved to my home town, Hendersonville, NC. Everyone that had any interactions with him only had nice things to say. He even helped some of the actors at The Flat Rock Playhouse get roles in his movies. Too bad so many people took advantage of him.

Dying broke is not an issue when one simply considers this: No one who has ever "passed" was helped by money because at that point the person is beyond money (or monetary value).
Burt Reynolds was never broke in the non-monetary sense. He actually was incredibly successful in life.

Burt Reynolds was a free spending guy but he really is a prime example of someone getting screwed over in a divorce settlement. Loni Anderson did not contribute to his career or do anything to earn the divorce allocation she received, at least not according to many other reports that were put out later on. It's said that Burt was a very down to earth guy and he was like a lot of men..... he liked women and having a good time. Some of his interviews with Johnny Carson are hilarious and his banter/relationship with Dom DeLuise is legendary.

I'm still a huge Burt fan. I loved all his movies growing up and I still do. I loved all the Bandit and Cannonball type movies because he made them great even if they weren't. I always want to remember him as he was in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at the top of his game. Surprisingly my two most favorite movies of his have to be Sharky's Machine and Starting Over. He really could act! Burt's last film The Last Move Star was actually quite a poignant and somewhat true to life view of his final few years. I kinda think he made peace with himself and his missteps in life with this film . I still tear up a bit when I think about his passing. He was one of my heroes as a kid and still kinda is. The downfall is once these actors get older they get less roles and then, it gets where, they can hardly make ends meet. The other downfall is because, one makes good money do to being a actor and, they are then, considered too have too many assets, therefore even, when, they lose everything they still are unable to collect Social Security and, that to leaves them without being able to get any government funded medical insurance and, therefore they can’t afford to pay any medical expenses out of there pocket, therefore, there health gets neglected. The downfall is Hollywood and having a career in Hollywood and, the way our government works. Because, you once had money, our government thinks people still should be loaded with money and, they don’t consider a career in Hollywood a actual job and none of these actors pay taxes but, end up getting paid a lump some of money, it’s the nature of having a career as a actor in the big Hollywood Business.

That would be " Loni Andhertits". For me, I preferred the shorter, more fuller figured type ( nicely proportioned breasts, full hips, butts and thighs). That would be Queen Sally.
