      I see at least 10 of these old GMT360's a day here in the Midwest, they're very popular and reliable. Amazing trucks.

    Been waiting for this video lol. I just bought an 06 2 months ago and so far have had a few things that needed fixed. 1 wheel bearing, turn signal lever, and needs a new alternator which I'll be doing this weekend.

      How is it holding up so far ?

    • @timmypstyle
      @timmypstyle Год назад +4

      @Dontaye Grimes I bought it with 115k, it has 117k now. My windshield wipers started to malfunction, replaced turn signal switch which helped for a short time but they are malfunctioning again. Found out it could be a module on the wiper motors. Everything but high setting comes and goes, but 90% of the time don't work. High setting still works fine. Also my 4x4 either broke before I bought it, or broke while engaging the first time I tried it. Engaging 4x4 is different on these than any other 4x4 I've had. You have to engage 4x4 while moving. Can't do it in park, and I'm also assuming can't do it while stopped in neutral either. There is a metal fork that breaks when it doesn't line up. My low beam relay stopped working, new relay fixed it. I have a suspension problem based on the wear pattern on the drivers side front tire, also 1 speaker works on the whole vehicle. Frame has 2 smaller wholes in it, but can be fixed, only the top half of the rear defroster works, had a few check engine lights that I fixed by cleaning the throttle body and mass airflow sensor, my weatherstripping needs replaced because I hear whistles from the air in 4 or 5 places while driving, and I have an issue that nobody can figure out...if it's off for a few hours, it starts right up no problem. But when warmed up, it takes longer and longer to crank each time I try starting it. Sometimes even cranking for almost 10 seconds at times. Battery/alternator/starter all tested fine.
      It gets about 16mpgs average, which isn't great but not terrible seeing as it is a traditional 6 cylinder SUV, but it does have decent power, which actually was a lot of power for its time. It's a 2006 with a 291hp 4.2L I6, and for comparison, my 06 3.9L V6 monte carlo only has 242hp. It is by far the most powerful 6 cylinder I've ever owned.

    They say 2007 was the best year made. Too bad my friend has a 2005 but it drives really smooth and makes long trips a breeze. Very comfortable and powerful machine with turn of the knob 4x4 makes it handy. With the rear seats down it can haul quite a bit.😊

    Paid for mine in full at an auto auction in 2023, best decision I ever made! It now has 229k, daily driver and my favorite car.
    I’ve owned a Corolla (second favorite)
    Dodge journey, Chrysler 200 (regret both)
    And a jeep compass. My 02 trailblazer has more features than most of the new cars I’ve owned in the past. Bonus is having a reliable vehicle and no car payment

      Because it is terrible. I’ve owned almost every year and trim of Trailblazer, Envoy and Bravada and the best economy I got was from my 2009 Envoy SLT 4x4. That was the only one I could push over 500km per tank. Everything else was always around 400km before screaming for fuel.

    Have a 2009 Trailblazer LT. It has everything except for the digital screens. Bought it from my neighbor in 2013 and still have it. 140K miles. Went 1K miles to Florida without stopping for more than 15 mins. But of course the AC quit because of a sensor that isn’t needed and is almost impossible to get to. Soooo no AC unless I take off the negative battery post. The rest of it will fall apart before then engine.

    Oh God, these are the vehicles that put the nail in gms reliability. Gm lost thousands of dollars on each one the first two years due to so many warranty claims. By brother bought an envoy new, vit didn't last the life of the loan. They aren't that old, but you don't even see them anymore on the road.
