I also just brought 02 Trailblazer with 180,000 miles on it and it's still going strong, it's the LT model tho, only just need a tuneup tho but all and all its a good truck
Great for road trips we got rid of it last year but we had one for 7 years went on multiple trips had about 300k miles with very little problems we have a Nissan suv now but I would be lying if I said that I didn’t miss that truck
I still have my 2002 trailblazer LS with 160k miles on it! Only thing i've had to replace is the clutch fan ($200) and a sway bar linkage ($150). It runs great! That 4.2 inline 6 engine is amazing. I've heard people going 250k++ without any major problems. This was a really good review. You went very in depth with the whole vehicle and I really like the way you reviewed it. Great Job!
Even today our Trailblazer is a very loyal friend of the family. But yeah the side support is not good compared to it's european competitors. Overall though it does it's job very well and reliable not to mention. We had many more problems with Mercedeses and Audis of that time which are gone by now. Greetings from Germany.
I like the styling of these when they look like trucks instead of cars gm went down hill with styling SUVs like the other American car company's with styling except the jeep patriot as of today standards.
very informative! if you are going to make a video specifically about a specific car, maybe do some light cleaning/vacuuming before filming. Other than that awesome video! helped me make a decision for getting my first car
JASON JEFFERSON the two that my family has had died within 2k miles that we bought them. total trash cars. both needed a new engine and the second one needed a new trans as well.
Mine has over 200000 miles and runs great. That vortex straight 6 was the best 6 chevy made for 10 years. Hands down. Wife had a 4 runner 4 cy weak motor no real xtra storage room. Tight with 4 people compared with chevy. Take my chevy first. Hauls a trailer nicely. 4 runner was to weak but real dependable. Of all 02 small suv I'll take the chevy. Paid 1500 6 years ago and just brakes battery oil changes and tires and wiper blades. Has cost me see 6.3 dollars day to own and she'll make 300000 miles with maitinance upkeep. Great deal. No major problems no rust. Keep it clean and been offered 3500 for it. No thanks. Know what I got. One wife 1 vehicle. Treat them right and it good at 69 years old. 4 runner blew the the rear end 2 years ago the wear my wife passed at passed away. Heart broken I lost my wife but the toyota got sold for 2500 with needed repairs. Some of my beautiful wifes ashes ride with me with her picture I'm blessed to of had her not the toyota. Lol be nice be a gentleman it'll make you a happy man and people love you more than you know
Yes the production of the Trailblazer overlapped the Blazer, however the Trailblazer was still the official replacement for the vehicle despite the overlapping of production.
I just bought one of these used. Much dont work. Half the heat, the 4 wheel drive, the rear wiper. Had bad rear tires. The engine works fine, some of the body panels are a different color. But i only got it as a spare is my main truck breaks down. So a good spare, just in care machine.
It also shared components with the Isuzu Ascender, Buick Rainer, Saab 97-X, and there is also no leather wrapped steering wheel. It is a rubber or plastic material. Get it together!
You just keep calling it generic and basic, yet have the lowest possible options package. These beasts had dual climate whether with auto or manual climate controls, you could get power heated memory leather seats, fog lights, a sun roof, air suspension, power mirrors, they alllllll came with alloy rims, and the 4.2l *the smallest engine availible* had 270hp.
Worse car every build. Maintenance hog, I own one, I will never own another GM product again. The L6 engine is noisy, eat gas like a big V8, My 03 Toyota Highlander was quite, almost maintenance free. I would have kept it but some idiot rammed it and totalled it out.
I have an 2002 Trailblazer with 250k miles on it with original engine and transmission. It's been a strong reliable truck.
Still going?
I also just brought 02 Trailblazer with 180,000 miles on it and it's still going strong, it's the LT model tho, only just need a tuneup tho but all and all its a good truck
Just got a 2003 LT 4WD, can't wait to take it off road and camping
Not a bad car. Rides smooth and is comfortable even to take on long trips.
Great for road trips we got rid of it last year but we had one for 7 years went on multiple trips had about 300k miles with very little problems we have a Nissan suv now but I would be lying if I said that I didn’t miss that truck
One of Chevy's best... truly durable. Mine is always laden with a few hundred pounds of tools... over 200k miles. Paid $4k seven years ago

The trailblazer was also known as the Saab 9-7x, the Buick Rainier, and Isuzu Ascender
I have a 2008 lt model with 139k had it over 2 years i love the truck
Bought the 2002 LS 97k miles for 2k in December (now has 103k) miles, it’s a great truck and super reliable when maintained right
I like the styling of these when they look like trucks instead of cars gm went down hill with styling SUVs like the other American car company's with styling except the jeep patriot as of today standards.
2008 Trailblazer with 250k miles on it with original engine and transmission. It's been a strong reliable truck
Definitely had the late 90s early 2000s car look, the bubbles and soft curves.
My 08 LS is nice. Basic no nonsense trim keeps price affordable. Mine has the 5.3. VIN identifies it as factory fitted.
Still got mines. Beware of the transmission as I replaced 2 times on the transmission. Was my 1st brand new suv and still love her
very informative! if you are going to make a video specifically about a specific car, maybe do some light cleaning/vacuuming before filming. Other than that awesome video! helped me make a decision for getting my first car

I wouldn't call it a replacement for the blazer.jimmy as they made the blazer till 05 and its much larger and heavier then the blazer/jimmy
Yes the production of the Trailblazer overlapped the Blazer, however the Trailblazer was still the official replacement for the vehicle despite the overlapping of production.

But nice video keep it up
Sure it has a generic interior but so did every single one of it’s competitors so its not too bad
I have the 02 ltz
Need lt one
did it have remote start
No, remote start on GM vehicles came out in the mid 2000's.
U can get it installed
It also shared components with the Isuzu Ascender, Buick Rainer, Saab 97-X, and there is also no leather wrapped steering wheel. It is a rubber or plastic material. Get it together!
The leather steering wheel was standard for 02-03 and optional for 04-09.

Nawaf Alahmed 5 years later and I’m still wondering
No he didn't lie. He DID test drive it. Re-watch the video.
Yuck I hate that fire engine red.
Worse car every build. Maintenance hog, I own one, I will never own another GM product again. The L6 engine is noisy, eat gas like a big V8, My 03 Toyota Highlander was quite, almost maintenance free. I would have kept it but some idiot rammed it and totalled it out.

Chante Williams Chevrolet and GMC are both owned by General Motors so they're technically the same brand.
Chante Williams GMC = General Motors Company
These trucks are awful with 4x4 issues.
Wash ya Dirty truck Boy .....and get a LTZ
