Hi Darren, how are you? I was firstly attracted to your channel by your tentbox then discovered you had a heart attack.
I had a heart attack when I was 43, 54 now, took about a year to get me sorted out ending in a double bypass. I got back to work 2 years after bypass and never really give it a second thought now, life goes on.
Getting back to your tentbox, I want one, maybe next year.

Hi, can you give more clarification on the maximum roof load for a Nissan Leaf. I am also thinking about a roof tent. The manual for the Nissan Leaf 2018 states 35kg maximum.

It's not advised on a Leaf. I thought it was nearer to 50kg but I can't remember.
I only had it on my Leaf for a short time before changing cars.
What about when it’s windy up there Darren? Thinking about the natural sway of a car in wind.
Apparently they are very stable.
As the car is electric it has a very low center of gravity with the batteries along the floor.
Very tidy mate! Just curious does it affect the range much being on an electric car? I have my lite on a Mondeo and it's pretty negligible the effect on mpg and overall driving
I've only had it on for 1 day, I haven't noticed a massive difference but I'm sure it will affect it, I only do short distances so it suits me.
I live on the North East Coast so when I do take it out I can just skirt around the coast line and discover new places without driving large distances in one go.
Hi did you buy the the roof bars from tentbox or from another outlet, the tentbox roof bars are about £200 but amazon are about half that price thanks
Hi, yes I did buy from tentbox, they were Thule roofbars that came an I thought they were good value for money too.
